First in, best dressed. This week’s birthday girl is Faith Bleasdale, also known as Rachel Wells (Alfie), who is my co-writer on The Leo Moon Mysteries, set for Audible UK launch later this year. Many Happy Returns, Faith.
Mercury sextile the North Node in Taurus on March 5th, and trine the South Node in Scorpio suggests the week ends with a few more sums. Taurus and Scorpio rule finance, property, shopping, business, charity and sales. This looks good. Mercury may turn up as a man who wants to make a deal – or take a deal. If you have anything in your natal chart at 5 Scorpio and/or 5 Taurus, it’s personal and twice as important.
With Psyche and Apollo also in Scorpio, ruling money and property, you can be sure that someone has to take the lead. It is also possible that what is paid for, lasts forever. This suggests saving the environment, perhaps, or just building a home – maybe planting a tree for The Queen’s Green Canopy. For many Aries people, what happens this week is a clear case of karma from the past coming back, as you are owed, or you owe, from the last time we saw the lunar nodes in Taurus and Scorpio at this position – August 2004.

Taurus, you have one, two or three budding brainwaves, concepts or qualifications to export this week. Perhaps you want to travel as well, or even move. We have Pluto in Capricorn in a conjunction with Hygiea on March 3rd, so you have your sights set on foreigners or foreign countries, perhaps with a website, book, thesis, course or other digital concept. Of course, this may be a foreigner who is incoming with something to negotiate or discuss. This seems a classic example of your steely grip, willpower and need for control meeting the world halfway, though.
Pluto is almost at the end of his cycle and so you may be rather late to what looks like a mass exodus – perhaps the 2023 equivalent of a gold rush or boom. Maybe you are late to join a general wave of departures for other reasons. People take holidays, move or take their ideas across the world on this transit. It’s absolutely clear that your hometown is not the place. Try to release the grip on one of your notions, and juggle. That may work better for you. And don’t miss the boat.
Pluto leaves on March 23rd. It is possible that this distant, far-off place and its people are in your own country. That can happen if you are mostly at home and consider, say, Wales to be as foreign as Scotland, if you are a Londoner. The other reason for the tight grip may be your need to protect yourself or the concept. Hygiea is found in the word ‘hygiene’ and the idea of prevention, pre-empting and protection is very close to that. COVID is an obvious issue, isn’t it. If you really want to try your luck with this high-potential plan of yours, do some rethinking and smart strategy this week.

Neptune in Pisces may produce a strongly Piscean type or Neptunian type this week, either in your love life or your professional life. It’s more likely to be your career, unpaid work or academic career, Gemini.
If you are a male Gemini, then you may be having a Neptune experience yourself, cruising and drifting in this famously escapist cycle. The Neptune square to Bacchus on March 1st is about drugs or alcohol – prescribed drugs too. Everything which has an impact on Gemini men at the moment tends to take them further out, or higher.
Naturally if you are a Gemini woman and this is your boyfriend or husband, you may wonder how you are going to meet in the middle. This may also be your boss, client or colleague – but whomever this is, the impact is huge. To connect and communicate you have to hope this man will change. He could do. He may do. You are more likely to find out when Saturn enters Pisces and joins Neptune around the 7th-8th of March. That is going to result in a completely different situation for him if you are a woman, or you – if you are a male Gemini.
Where there was just surfing before, or sailing, or floating – there will now be nets, walls, a lighthouse, flags, lifeguards, signs and the rest. If you are a male Gemini and this character is obviously your employer, colleague, professor and so on, try waiting for March 8th to get some structure from him. He may have no choice.

The time has come to negotiate, buy, sell, donate, invest and the rest. Mercury in Aquarius in your Eighth House of business, property, insurance, legacies, valuables and the rest is in a conjunction with Saturn on March 2nd. This is very close to the end of this very demanding cycle which began on December 18th, 2020. Perhaps it’s the final hurdle.
If you are a male Cancerian, then you need to sort out all the defences, walls, barricades and (perhaps) the baggage you have accumulated. Saturn does rule all we do to protect ourselves, especially in terms of what we earn, own or owe – in. your case. However, he is out of your life from March 8th, and you will then be in a position to do things dramatically differently. In fact, after Pluto changes signs on March 23rd, your property or financial position will transform. Perhaps you know that.
If you are a female Cancerian then you need to be on the same page as someone who has all manner of moats, drawbridges and gates around himself. Talk his language. Money talks, doesn’t it, but he may want to hear other references too. If you are a male Cancerian and don’t have the money yourself but are dealing with (say) your father or boss, you need to do some research. He could say no, but he may say yes. It depends on your strategy.

Well, Leo, you are almost at the end of Saturn in Aquarius, opposite your sign, and as this is where we find all your duelling and people-fencing (the cut and thrust of life). It’s fair to say that you may be feeling ring-fenced by the past. This week’s horoscope is different for Leo men and Leo women, as we are dealing with male and female horoscope factors.
If you are a female Leo, then you need to use who or what still seems so limiting and restrictive, to break free. To break free means you can travel or move. To break free means you can finally be liberated from a mindset which is quite honestly based on what is in your head: not necessarily in reality. I can understand that you feel vulnerable but the truth is Saturn goes on March 8th. Around that time, you may even hear about a particularly difficult person, or group of people, also going. It happens. This is a psychological process, Leo. You can either call for help, wait for the currents of time to remove the situation or be proactive, use who/what surrounds you to break free and see clearly – or – nothing. I think the Mercury-Saturn conjunction on March 2nd is a real moment. I also think that with your Ninth House of travel, relocation and emigration (ruled by Aries) so primed, you owe it to yourself to see what’s out there and who is out there too.
Leo male? This week is about a woman in your world who is centre-stage. You can help. Wade in. This may be your wife or girlfriend. Your work partner. Your former partner. Go to it, King. In all cases, Leo, you have had Mars Retrograde in your zone of groups since 4th September, so people in a group or circle, making their point, may have made it very sharply indeed. The cycle ends on March 17th. If the issue is not so much a one-on-one duel from the past, as an en masse people issue, it’s time for it to end. It’s going to end anyway, be you male or female, get cracking.

This is a really important week for you, Virgo, with Mercury in conjunction with Saturn in Aquarius, in your solar Sixth House of well-being, health and mind, body and spirit in harmony. This is actually the house Virgo rules anyway, as you are as likely to be the healer – as the healed. The healing can take place on all sorts of levels this week.
Mercury is your ruling planet, and we find him turning up with Saturn on March 2nd. Saturn slows everything down. Thus, the process of detoxing (perhaps) or just long overdue relief has to be steady and careful. You also have Ops in Virgo, your own sign, and she is about strong, practical solutions to problems with your appearance, title or reputation. In fact, Ops and Saturn were married in the Roman mythology that feeds modern astrology, so this week is quite unusual. Ops is here to help, no matter if you need to clean up your online space or face – or swear off the booze. The Sun is in opposition to Ops on March 1st so what you are going through will be really obvious to other people.
You are also just ahead of the most powerful new cycle for your health in 248 years; that begins on March 23rd with Pluto in his new sign of Aquarius. Beyond this week of help and healing, there is another message about people power within a group. The true Aquarius principle (and this sign rules your work, unpaid work and academic career) is humanitarian. The vision of equality and solidarity with diversity – all the tribes – shows up now.
So as much as we might be talking about going swimming to tone up or seeing a surgeon (or a reputation surgeon), we are also very much talking about something very new, coming soon. Black, white, young, old, male, female, gay, straight (and then a few other hundred categories) showing you that actually, it can all flow. It can all work. You just need the right transits, and they are coming.

The ground beneath your feet is still shifting, Libra. You are at the end of this long Pluto cycle now, but there is still potential chopping and changing with the family tree. There may be a shift in your local area or country as Pluto is in a conjunction with Hygiea on March 3rd. You may have questions about your garden or land. This cycle works literally as well as symbolically.
The younger generation is important; along with this cycle you also have one in your sector of parenthood. We also find you here as a godparent, aunt, uncle, grandparent, teacher, mentor and so on. Children or teenagers may be part of your paid or unpaid work. Here, there is a moment of truth on March 2nd as another cycle is on the way out. The family, property, hometown, homeland sector of your chart and the ‘youth’ sector both signal final chapters near March 7th and again near the 23rd of March. You have to accept that not every branch of the family tree is going to stay the same, Libra. Hygiea suggests quite a lot of pre-emptive attack. Plenty of preparation, safeguarding, defending and so on. This situation will settle down enormously from the final week of March when Pluto has finally left Capricorn for the first time in around 15 years. A son or nephew, grandson may be on the move this week, or extremely restless.

There is every chance of a new mother-child relationship in the future, but as you have been through a very long cycle here (since 2011) and are about to enter another one (from March 8th, 2023) you need time to think. Perhaps it is someone else who must now rejuvenate and reboot. Maybe it is you.
These transits in Pisces in your Fifth House of children, nieces, nephews, godchildren, grandchildren (and unrelated younger people) need time and care. There has been something not entirely real about the last 12 years, Scorpio, as you have been living through a cycle which is about ‘versions’ of reality. Rather like a surrealistic painting or a stained-glass window, a myth or a cartoon, Neptune has delivered a particular picture of a mother-child relationship and now it is unmissable.
The Sun in Pisces in opposition to Ops on March 1st suggests motherhood and all it involves, is very much on your mind, no matter if this was your wife many years ago with your young son, or a different sort of parent-child bond now. Mercury’s quincunx to Ceres on March 5th is another big message about mothers, sons or daughters and the particular politics involved, no matter if this goes back years, Scorpio, or is there in the present. You have a project, qualification or idea to take to a new area, perhaps, but need to do some proper grounding and planning this week. Mercury in Aquarius is really about brainstorming and also connecting, even if the accents or languages are different or you are in very new territory to you.
Important days include March 2nd when Mercury is in a conjunction with Saturn. There is always a bit of hesitation when Saturn is around and a need to protect the concept. There seems to be a fair bit of defensiveness here, but actually, that’s misplaced. Of course, there are no guarantees with the worldwide web, or the big wide world, but you have a lot to gain from focussing. Come back to yourself and be practical about it.
There is also a second plan or project, so don’t forget that. It’s pretty clear you won’t make anything take off in your current city or local area, so you are quite right to look elsewhere.

Well, the asteroid Fortuna is all over your horoscope on February 27th, so the Wheel of Fortune will spin in quite a random way. Ups and downs, highs and lows are normal. The world of the internet, books, the media and all information and communication is very much involved.
You have Mercury, which points to readers and writers, web users and creators, in this zone of your chart, in the sign of Pisces this week. Aquarius, the legacy left to you by family or friends is more than just something on paper. Life goes on in the spirit world and this week you have Ops to thank for a moment of truth about those people near 2nd March. On 5th March, Ops is in opposition to Panacea, so the solutions are there, you and those who have passed on, have to find them. This is an unusual time in your life. Pisces, if you are single, you could easily fall in love, or take the next step with someone, this week. The reason for that is Ops in Virgo, your opposite sign. Ops is about optimism. She is about practical solutions. Ops trines Vulcano on March 2nd, so there is something volcanic about the desire. This is about sex, plain and simple. This is important, too, because there is a Full Moon in Virgo on March 7th, which could easily mark the beginning of a new relationship.
If you are married or in a partnership, then a second honeymoon is possible. Either that, or perhaps an amicable separation. It really depends on your birth chart. It may feel as if something bigger than both of you is at work. Correct. You may have been married and split up, but never divorced. You may be at a particular stage in your relationship where it’s now or never for something. Pisces, you could walk away, or even run from this, I suppose, but I don’t think you’re going to.
