Think of 2024 as joining the dots to a new home or unforgettable vacation – perhaps an export, gap year, overseas student or translation opportunity. Taurus – It has been 12 long years since Jupiter, the planet of solutions and opportunities, was in your finance and property zone in Gemini. Gemini – You are now firmly on the road to rescheduling a new date, marital conference, engagement, separation, divorce and the like. Mercury, your ruler, continues retrograde in Sagittarius preparing for a big flip next week. Allow for communication, information or transportation issues between you both – at least until January 2025. But when your ruler Mercury is finally out of Retroshadow, you’ll both have a lot to talk about or sign with some finality.
I daresay this is about money or property given Pluto is about to leave that zone of your chart. Maybe the possessions. Cancer – It may take until January, but you are now on the road to new decisions which will make a difference to your daily routine, lifestyle, wellbeing and workload in 2025. This Mercury Retrograde in Sagittarius is a bugger, as they say, but eventually the stop-start and changes will themselves stop. A great many Cancerians will be in new jobs or courses next year, and the chopping and changing now is really a pointer to January when the North Node leaves your professional, academic and vocation zone. If not then, towards the middle of the year when new roles, goals or people – come in. This current flux and future big shift are now very true of not only work, but also unpaid work and housework.
It is also applicable to your body, mind and spirit which are connected in astrology. Your health may also be stop-start or rescheduled now as Mercury continues to slide around. Try to get as much in writing as you can, in any case, even though the story will change by January 2025. Until then, keep batting this back and forth or rewriting the schedule.

Leo – This is the Rowling cycle. The legacy she is leaving to her children and to younger people, in general, is a useful guide to what is happening now with your godchildren, your own offspring, a young people’s organisation and so on. You may know your zodiac sign is associated with being Queen or King to a younger court. The way to this, is all stop-start for weeks as the door opens and shuts until January 2025 and the key is not the right fit. Virgo – We have the Sun circling your zone of home, accommodation, hometown, family and homeland now. Your ruling planet Mercury is also there now, retrograde. So, this week is about the paperwork, meetings, telephone calls or emails – backwards. Yet, Mercury is also appearing to move backwards and forwards in your horoscope for longer than just the next few days, so you must allow for delays and changes with the plans or timing until January 2025.
Get everything in writing and read the fine print. It may be as simple as a family member’s scheduling or as complex as your local council (or government). Naturally, tenants, flatmates and real estate agents also qualify. Thus, reversing or reshaping the initial decisions is quite normal. Maybe more than once. Doing this circular runaround with builders may be par for the course now or with your landlord. I will be amazed if your family plans for Christmas are the same, later on.

Capricorn – This Mercury Retrograde with all its rescheduling, rewrites and rethinking takes place in your Twelfth House, so the flux is behind the scenes or within. A good example would be counselling for alcoholism at A.A. or dream coaching. Hypnosis, religion, Tarot, mediumship, meditation or yoga and therapy are all Twelfth House. We associate this cycle with your interior – your spirit or soul – but also with what you cover up from other people. This takes us into signed confidentiality agreements or your subconscious. Be it Jung or a psychiatrist, allow for the re-re factor.
Just be aware that, in all cases, this goes backwards and forwards until January 2025. The great thing is, it’s so good for beta testing or rehearsal. Christmas is coming, though, and as religion is also ruled by this transit, there may be cancellations or rescheduling with the carols, for example. One church may close so you end up at another one and it ends up being a completely different religious experience. Have Plan B and C at this time of year, no matter if you are a Druid or just having counselling.

Aquarius – There is so much going on with your circle, community or network. Do think about the people power within that crucial group or circle as you have seen it previewed in 2023 and 2024 so far, yet it will not be until November 19th, 2024, that you realise how potent this is. Pisces – If you are wondering about the timing with what is an obvious career rescheduling, business snag, unpaid work fork in the road or skewed university pathway, wonder no more. You will be aware that even if this takes time. When Mercury is out of Retroshadow in January 2025, you will be on your way. Even if all you basically want to do is solve a problem, you will be amazed at how the knot is untangled without too much effort from you if you treat this as a rehearsal and not the big finish. This is, of course, the time of year when there are reshuffles in your workplace, industry, profession, business or academic world. That may provide you with your logical answer. People take early holidays, or they take time off work because of COVID. It is also a time of new appointments and promotions which can meander all over the place and sometimes be cancelled. If you are far along the trail already, you can look forward to the role or project that makes January a sign-off and maybe a sign-on. Get as much as you can in writing now and then you can lock things down after Christmas and go over and over the words.
