Gemini – Your ruler Mercury is retrograde in your sector of duets and duels. Your other half or the other side is in a holding pattern with you until January 2025. Take your time and treat this week as part of a stuck cycle of time – which it is. There are big questions here about the right timing with an adversary or a partner.
This cycle is so important that I will give you a longer reading of it than usual and quote from my book 2020 Vision (Penguin): People are confused, flaky, unreliable, late, unfathomable and uncertain when Mercury goes retrograde. Gemini, you will be astonished at how people change their minds – or how easy it is for you to change yours. Cancer – Neptune in Pisces is about confused and confusing situations affecting your regional transportation and international travel. Leo – Oh, the joy of Mercury Retrograde. You can certainly see the impact on those around you. Of course, that affects you, too, in terms of dating, the bedroom, babies, children or young adults. Cars, taxis, trucks, boats, aeroplanes, trains and buses can be unreliable now or you will face transport strikes, traffic jams, delays, or schedule changes.
Mercury also rules communication which covers a broad canvas – computers, telephones, fax machines, mail – but also your dealings with the media. Chaos, mistakes, delays, reversals and general SNAFU situations are more likely now. A promise is seldom a promise at this time and ‘confirmations’ are often anything but. Great time to contemplate. Virgo – Well, here is some action in your Fourth House of home. It’s no mistake that Astrologers say, don’t assume your house, flat or land is a straightforward ‘nothing to see here’ Fourth House matter now. In fact, what goes on with your family, household, apartment, house, town or country is classic Mercury Retrograde. Don’t forget new flatmates either. Scorpio – Save yourself the lack of clarity and reinforce boundaries about babies, children, teenagers or younger adults next. Aquarius – Mercury Retrograde in your zone of friends and groups (from the Democrats to your band) needs appraisal. You’ll get an incredible amount of backwards information now just by talking or Googling. Chinese whispers or stuck computers rule on this transit. But it’s backwards and forwards for a reason. People who are famously poor at returning phone calls, text messages or e-mails anyway can be wobbly now. When Mercury is Retrograde in your career, unpaid work and academia zone, people say ‘Umm’ or ‘Oh’ or ‘I’m not really sure’ or you find yourself going back on your word. Pisces, this week may be about dress rehearsal. This can be terribly useful as success often comes later from a dress rehearsal, first attempt or beta-test.
