Some people go on a sabbatical, others find themselves hibernating or even find themselves hiding from the world. If you are by yourself for a few months, then right now, your primary relationship will be with yourself. Perhaps with your God. So, you’ll realise you have two sides to your personality now. And that’s where the work begins. This cycle can help you to make peace with both sides of yourself, so that all of you makes progress. The focus of attention now is your God. You’ll be fired up about these issues now, no matter if you believe or not. Mars often brings tension. To offload some of this, pace yourself. It’s a long cycle, unusually so, Cancer. On one level, managing the Mars transit this way will make it less likely that you’ll be wound up. Mars is about attack or defence. Friends and groups turn up the heat until March. Separate yourself from the fired-up feelings and look at the overall plan. Happily, the next few weeks will make your financial, business or property progress over the next few months easy – culminating in money saved or made, in April and May. What does Mars do when retrograde? With or without this odd backward thrust, Mars show us possibilities, in relation to foreigners and foreign countries. It can wind you up backwards or put a rocket into reverse, so be aware. Emotions of the more heated kind are likely now. Managing those will be an ongoing challenge but call March the sign-off.

October 23 - November 21
Mars in Gemini draws your attention to your legacy, property, wallet or purse, as well as your car, favourite jacket, antiques or shares. Houses and flats also matter in this cycle, for obvious reasons, and so do other valuable assets. Life is backwards, stop-start or stuck until March, Scorpio. You will feel like charging ahead with an action plan now. You’re either seeing a big push on – or a bugle call ahead of a rush. The timing’s out! See this as a circuit or loop, to March 2023.

Short journeys and commuting have been walled in with barriers and heavy barricades since Christmas 2020. You may feel like pulling the car out of the garage right now and speeding all the way somewhere to make a point about those walls. Sit it out if you can. The cycle ends in March. December 22 - January 19
This cycle is about your value system. What you will and won’t sell out for. Try to take the reality and know that it ends in March. If it’s true, that everyone has their price (or their idea of what is priceless) you’ll be learning a lot now. Remember to breathe, though – and if necessary, to count to 100 and call a financial advisor before you inspect the barriers one more time. They go, along with Saturn, in months.

January 20 - February 18
This lovely new Jupiter cycle rules brothers and sisters, short trips (and the way you get around), and the written and spoken word. Doors open. Thunderbolts drop. Take the bigger, wider view. If a brother or sister is acting the part of Jupiter, he or she will extend largesse. What’s inside their psyche and how can you manage it?
