Any new friendships or group involvements which arrived in 2022 will always pull the past with them, in some happy way, in 2023 as well. The previous chapter in your social life, your group involvements or your friendships will dictate what is to come along next, from Christmas. Group energy is promising now, so if you lose the scheduling or see a delay in what the group is doing – those parties, dinners, conferences, reunions or other Zoom social and group get-togethers, deliver later. Play the long game within. Dreams, psychic experiences, therapy, journals, meditation or ‘hibernation’ time can reveal a lot about what (or who) it takes to make you feel complete. Halloween-Christmas is special, Leo, as this is when most of the best financial negotiations, business correspondence or property transactions will occur. Even if you don’t get to the signatures or handshakes stage, though, there will still be plenty of terrific question-and-answer sessions, and a reasonable amount of useful research, either at work or home. If you concentrate solely on the money, the house, the flat, the possessions or the business rewards, you gain or save in weeks. This is a good time of year to become more aware of that life budget, too – and to try and balance your feelings with your head.

This is a good time to watch, wait and take notes on your next purchase, sale or transaction or to figure out the garden, house or apartment for December 2022/January 2023. You also have to rethink cashflow, shopping, banking, profits, losses, debts and credits in November, too. The chances are high that your best-laid plans may serve you best if they empower you. If they give you control. I know very few astrologers who will buy or sell anything in this financial cycle unless it offers the reins at home, or with property. Even though this will be a busy time for what you earn, own or owe – take your time.

October 23 - November 21
Mars moves backwards. If you work in retail, or trade on eBay, you will be astonished at how people change their minds – or how easy it is for you to change yours – until March 2023! For this reason, astrologers traditionally advise their clients to avoid signing important paperwork when Mars is going backwards in the Eighth House. Because the general local and global atmosphere now is so chaotic, with any other Scorpio or Taurus (like Bill Gates, for example) there can be a trickle-down effect on your financial affairs, which means the online banking system is triggered, for example. Always read the fine print now. Flux may hit expensive decisions.

November 22 - December 21
This is a good time to get your wind back, and get your strategy out with your cousin, brother or sister. You’ll be better informed now, if you can pause for thought – and more logical about things which are so limiting. As long as you don’t ignore your feelings (or theirs) you should come up with useful results now – no matter if you are organising a family Christmas, or even tackling really serious sibling issues. As with all Saturn cycles, though, if you lean too hard on yourself or others, it can feel too heavy.

December 22 - January 19
Opportunities and solutions are on offer locally or regionally until Christmas 2022. This also applies to short trips away, and to all forms of transport (cars, bicycles, motorbikes, boats and Shank’s Pony). What adds up and makes sense now, has to also be emotionally satisfying or intuitively ‘right.’ The Third House famously rules your closest transportation and travel (particularly walking or riding, but also cycling.) Plan ahead, as a project or course from Christmas to May 2023 will deliver. So, stash away information sources – electronic, human or otherwise – that you may feel are useful. Try to pace yourself and get a sense of rhythm and timing about what you are doing after Christmas. You’ll have access to a vast range of sources, contacts and networks with Jupiter, but do put the fact-finding in perspective, so you end up with splendid outcomes later. So many sudden X factors will complicate your dealings with a cousin, brother or sister until 2023, that you may want to start making up your mind on the fly, not before the apple cart overturns. Whatever the nature of your brother or sister ‘business’, though, this is a famously disruptive time, when what is allegedly settled or final, is often subject to change. If you need freedom from, or through – someone – 0r they do with you – then the Uranus in Taurus cycle may well bring that on.
