Psychic Astrology – Australian Election 2025

Who and what wins the Australian election in 2025? Psychic astrology has a few clues. But why is religion so important? And will PM Albanese be caught out by Medicare questions?

Who or What Wins the 2025 Australian Election?

I’ve been asked several times to look at the psychic astrology behind the winners of the 2025 Australian election. Will PM Albanese lead again? This was first published on 8th February 2025 and updated on 28th March, a few weeks later, when PM Albanese confirmed the election date. That chart is now included.

Australia Kojinaka Dreamstime 300x200 - Psychic Astrology - Australian Election 2025Psychic Astrology and the 2022 Australian Election

The horoscope for the nation has form when it comes to calling election results. So back on 10th April 2022 it was possible to suggest what was likely. And what was likely, did in fact happen.

“It may be that treasurer Josh Frydenberg risks losing his seat.” (He did). “Many more independents, women and/or Greens on the crossbench for years into the future.” And, because it was a Mercury Retrograde election, the astrology suggested results as late as June in some seats. Liberal Andrew Constance asked for a recount on 14th June.

Astrology Chart – Australian 2025 Election

This chart is set for the close of polls at 6.00pm in Canberra, the nation’s capital, on Saturday 3rd May 2025. The software is from AstroGold.

This is a Medicare election, which the Tarot also agrees. The South Node is at 26 Virgo, the public health sign, exactly trine Uranus at 26 Taurus. This is revolutionary change with health insurance, benefits, claims, the price of prescription drugs, hospitals – and as I’ll mention in a moment – complementary and alternative health care too. Juno is at 26 Scorpio, again in an exact aspect to the South Node at 26 Virgo. Virgo rules Ozempic, Covid, acupuncture – the lot.

Date-Stamped Prediction – The Voice

The Australian chart has many faces, because the country has gone through so many changes since Europeans first started landing. I have tested them all and the most accurate for prediction is May 27th 1967, when Australians voted for First Nations equality. She’s Gemini.

Just using that alone it was possible to predict The Voice referendum would fail.

This ran on my Substack on September 1st 2023. You read, “THE HOROSCOPE FOR 14th OCTOBER 2023 IS NOT A GOOD OMEN. There is a New Moon Eclipse on the day – and eclipses have traditionally been feared by Aboriginal Australians. The cover of The Border Mail calls referendum day ‘A Date With Destiny’ but as an astrologer, I wish PM Anthony Albanese had chosen a different date.”

A great deal depends on the date that politicians choose for an election or referendum so this time around, you’d hope PM Albanese’s team were at least open to astrology. Yet, the cards (below) have spoken. So it would seem that the incoming date was always going to divide parties and the country.

In fact, the chart shows just that (along with radical changes to Medicare and private health insurance, as well as hospitals and doctors). The IC at 8 Aquarius at close of polls is trine Aesculapia at 8 Gemini. Aquarius rules the diverse group and Gemini rules neighbour states. We’re going to see a wildly divided country between states, with independents featuring heavily, but also dissenting voices within Labour and the Liberal Party/National Party.

How Psychic Astrology Saw Albanese in 2022

Before Anthony Albanese became Prime Minister, this prediction ran here on the website.

Looking at the Albanese natal chart, I saw a ‘vroom-vroom’ leader committed to electric cars. In December 2024, he announced a $150 million program to make EV’s (Electric Vehicles) more accessible.

I saw him pushing for rail innovation. In September 2024, Albanese backed the High Speed Rail Authority. If he is re-elected in 2025 his astrology birth chart suggests he will go all-out on this. And overdue improvements to domestic airlines. The Tarot works well with him. This all came from The Chariot card.

What’s Next in Australian 2025 Election Astrology?

We’re still seeing outer planet Aquarius cycles. And when polls close the IC is in Aquarius.

Aquarius is the diverse group of men and women, old and young, black and white, rich and poor, gay, straight and lesbian (and so on) all sharing space. The old power structure of Pluto in Capricorn has gone. No more minority white males in control.

The two-party system of all the power going to one – or the other – is finished in the 2025 Australian election. So what does the Tarot say? And the other oracles on this website?

The Modern I Ching and Tarot

Anthony Albanese 2 March 2024 225x300 - Psychic Astrology - Australian Election 2025

Using The Modern I Ching, The Smith Waite Tarot, The Garden Oracle and The Astrology Oracle (all on this website) I’ve found some clues for you. But let’s start with the chart. Australia is a Gemini country.

She has a few ‘birth’ dates to choose from but her most recent rebirth involved First Nations’ rights, as I’ve mentioned.

What do the cards say about leadership for this Gemini nation, in 2025? PM Anthony Albanese? Rival Peter Dutton? The Greens? The Teals?

Just going off the astrology chart alone, we can see a revolution involving religion. That is quite interesting, given the cards, below. Who would have thought religion mattered so much? Then again, look at deposed Australian PM Scott Morrison and Hillsong.

Karma for Albanese and Dutton

Karma from 1989 and 2007 comes back for Anthony Albanese and Peter Dutton at this election. The South Node is in Virgo.

Back in 1989 that was about enemies, opponents and the opposition – the Liberal party – for Anthony Albanese. The South Node was in his solar Seventh House of conflicts.

In the same year, Peter Dutton had the South Node in Virgo, in his Eleventh House of groups. So that was the Liberal Party and the National Party.

Repeat that in 2007. It’s time for closure. In 1989 Dutton ran unsuccessfully against Tom Burns, the Queensland Labor leader. That year, Albanese became Assistant General Secretary of the NSW Labor Party.

Moving them forward to 2007, Albanese was Manager of Opposition Business in the House. Dutton was Minister for Revenue and the Assistant Treasurer.

Whatever spiritual debts and credits both men are owed (or owe) from those years, will return at the 2025 election. The same people may reappear.

Who and What Wins?

Given that Australian households are suffering from a high cost of living and extremely expensive mortgages, you would expect the cards to talk about the economy. They are not. So what wins? Well, it’s back to Medicare. As well as religion.

The Astrology Oracle: Minerva in the Twelfth House
Wisdom about religion, Tarot, hypnosis, meditation, psychology, psychiatry, counselling, therapy, spirituality. (In politics, classically this is about religion.) Minerva is a symbol of feminine intelligence. This may be a nod to individual female independents who are holding power. It’s also about mental health funding from Medicare.

The Garden Oracle: A Fresh Start for Mind Body and Spirit
This is about Medicare again (see comments on psychology, psychiatry, counselling in the first cards). It is also about yoga and other natural therapies, which are no longer covered by  private health insurance in Australia. Two oracles are talking about the same issues.

On the health front, Greens Deputy Leader Mehreen Faruqui (pictured, below) fronts a party policy of  mental health care, free for all who need it. That’s just one example of an issue.

Deputy Leader Mehreen Faruqi 2019 235x300 - Psychic Astrology - Australian Election 2025

Watching Medicare and Religious Discrimination

The fresh start for ‘spirit’ from The Garden Oracle is a direct echo of Minerva in the Twelfth House, in The Astrology Oracle,  which is about wisdom and religion. Wisdom and spirituality, be it Christian, Islam, Sikh, Buddhist, Jew, Hindu and so on.

The Catholic and Anglican churches in Australia are by far the largest religious groups. Yet, Peter Dutton supports Donald Trump’s Middle East ‘solution.’ We’re in that classic Neptune and Saturn in Pisces cycle in 2025, when religion on the world stage is having a massive impact on individual countries. Cue Israel and Gaza.

Religious discrimination laws are back in the spotlight in Australia too, in 2025 – particularly with faith schools. The Times of Israel counts PM Albanese as pro-Palestine. Could the Gaza problem actually swing this election in some marginal seats? Or are the cards talking about, say, Roman Catholic private schools and trans? Abortion? Are we back to Hillsong?

What Does The Modern I Ching Say?

The card here is Advancing. Advancing immediately brings ‘Advance Australia Fair’ to mind. There may be a clue here about the national anthem.

Card 35 I Ching Oracle Cards 203x300 - Psychic Astrology - Australian Election 2025It may also be about Australian military security. The Modern I Ching interpretation runs, “Progress can be step by step, or at full tilt, with nothing standing in the way.”

“Moving forward is a matter of timing and this I Ching hexagram says the time is right. This ancient Chinese way of seeing the world is vested in the military, going back thousands of years and so on a basic level this is about an army advancing.”

Strangely, this is a Chinese oracle so perhaps we are being told about Australia advancing against China and her own military ambitions. This may be about the $350 billion+ Aukus deal which both the Liberal and Labor governments agreed to. What are you seeing?

Peter Dutton 18 Nov Scorpio 2024 225x300 - Psychic Astrology - Australian Election 2025

The Tarot: The Five of Wands

Who or what wins the 2025 election in the Smith Waite Tarot? The political party with the most in-fighting, is the answer.

So is this Peter Dutton and a divided group of Liberal and National party politicians?

The entire group of politicians composed of independents (Teals) and other one-man or one-woman bands is shown in the card.

This is what the Tarot says:

“Who is in charge here? Nobody. This is the Amish raising a barn on a bad day, or a group of builders arguing over the direction of North. The potential is there for something sturdy, strong and impressive which would reflect the different personalities and their tastes and preferences in a satisfying whole.”

“Unfortunately nobody is doing anything while everyone is at cross-purposes. The solution is for people to pair off and co-operate, then at least two of the pairs to meet in the middle. Person number five or ‘interested party’ number five – is then the challenge but it can all be overcome.”

The original Tarot interpretation published many years ago is ‘cross-purposes’ which is a nod to a Cross Bench which is very cross indeed.

Tarot Deck Five of Wands scaled e1719725181327 - Psychic Astrology - Australian Election 2025

A Divided Australia

Either way, – the cards are suggesting a divided Australia after the election.  I have quite a few psychic readers. What are you picking up?

What wins, according to the Smith Waite Tarot –  is diversity and a lack of community. A group at odds with itself is victorious here. Loud women who make waves in their own parties!

Are we also going to see a major push to get alternative therapies back in private health care? (See the card below).  A Fresh Start for Mind, Body and Spirit.

The Tarot goes on to say, in the Premium Member reading:

81 A FRESH START FOR MIND BODY AND SPIRIT 203x300 - Psychic Astrology - Australian Election 2025“This is the band about to split because of musical differences. It reminds of every fractured rock band in history, from The Beatles to The Rolling Stones. We also have someone rather angry or overheated in red, in the centre.”

“The sensible answer is for two pairs to form within the group, who co-operate, then for the different pairs to unite, and an accommodation of sorts, to be made for anyone else. A great deal comes down to communication of the tactful but truthful sort.”

“The ideas, theories, concepts or plans are all similar. The individual personalities are really different, but what they are talking about, or putting on paper, or online, is very samey and so the potential is there for unity. Nothing can be built until people set their differences aside, along with their narcissism or heat, and co-operate.”

Over to You – Who and What Wins?

Over to you. If you are a Premium Member, you can try all four card decks by going to the Divination section of my website.

I’ll be curious to see if we get the same cards. But – in general – what I was writing about in 2022 is still rolling. This 2025 Australian election is about independents, individuals and women rising. If I was advising either party, I’d be talking to them about getting Ozempic and other ‘miracle’ weight-loss injections for all. Now, that’s a vote winner.

  1. Thanks Jessica. I feel quite disheartened by Australian politicians at the moment so it’s reassuring to know change is coming. On a personal level, I’m hoping to progress in my career as a culturally diverse woman in the next 6 months by moving to a different work area which works with CALD communities. I pulled the 8 cups and stranger in a strange land so it’s clear I need to move to this or another area. Can you please help with timing? I think May might be important. Thanks

    1. It looks as though you will be moving for work, if that was your question. Have a look at the other two oracles too.

  2. Thank you for this post Jessica. I found it fascinating. I used the tarot and I Ching and came up with very similar responses to the same question:
Religion, community drawing from the well and sustainable resources, Hygeia and the first house (I’m wondering if this too might be health or perhaps social media legislation aimed at protecting young people that has been passed recently?) and the World card from the Smith Waite Tarot. I wondered if the last might be Australia’s relationship with the UK, Europe and USA or perhaps even China (the card suggests new relationship with a foreign country or culture)?
Based on the cards I drew I too think religion, community (independents?) and perhaps health may be the key election issues, in addition to Australia’s relations with the US. Europe, UK and maybe China and perhaps social media protections?
Would be grateful for any insights you may have on my chart – particularly with my work and career over the next 6 to 12 months? I’m a Sun Capricorn with stelliums in Capricorn, Aries, Libra and Aquarius.
Many thanks for all your insights and generosity.

    1. Thank you. So you found religion was an issue too. I’m fascinated by this because it suggest a front page issue that has not happened yet. It’s in the future but it will propel voters. Hygiea and the First House is very much about trans surgery and pharmaceuticals, as the First House is about the face and body and Hygiea is about prevention, not cure. It’s the most extreme electoral issue we have. The World is also interesting given the focus on national security. Your own chart shows continued opportunities for new or recycled – better – work opportunities. Study too. That runs until June. Who and what turns up is lucky and should be pursued not put to the back of the pile. From July this area of your life, so much about daily routine, service, duty, wellbeing, housework, paid work, unpaid work, academia – delivers real turnarounds and total surprises. New directions you’d not counted on which happen very suddenly and give you enormous freedom. Electrifying in fact. Chances of a new job or even a new career are extremely high into 2026 and beyond.

  3. Gosh Jessica, perish the thought that the Liberal Trumpists get into power! They are as far from the Pluto in Aquarius/ power to the people/ diversity that we need today. I’m hoping your cards mean the Teal independents and Greens come together. I’ll keep my fingers crossed that Australia doesn’t go down the same path as the USA!

    1. You’ll actually find that power (as in real power) is carved up between the left and right. You may even find Greens and Teals disagreeing as well as individuals within the Liberal party. It’s highly democratic but in practice, pretty unworkable.

  4. This is one of the perplexing posts I’ve seen! I can’t quite make head or tail of it! Labor have made announcements regarding travel, transport, roads, medicare and women’s health which are issues relating to your previous posts about the key issues of this election, while the Liberals have yet to make a major policy announcement. However in terms of a united party it’s hard to say who it is exactly. According to sources both Angus Taylor and Sussan Ley have had issues with Dutton and have secretly canvassed support for a leadership spill (these are rumours), and apparently there has been some annoyance within Labor for quite some time regarding Albanese’s small target approach to governance and lack of charisma (when has Labor ever been a united party!), so it’s hard to tell who is the disgruntled party between the two. Also when it comes to religion is it about Judasim and the claims of anti-semitism on the rise in Australia? Recently, AG, Mark Dreyfus called out the Liberals in Parliament for their use of politicising anti-semitism for political gain. Could this be a factor? I believe from the 5 of wands card we could see a minority government with many different political colours working together. Have you noticed how the central man in the card is in red (Labor) and the only one wearing a hat (authority and power, maybe the current government), while one is in teal and the other in green? Just my observation, what do you think?

    1. People are often perplexed by prediction…because it hasn’t happened yet. Check back once the election is decided. You have noticed the red (Labor) figure in the divided group in the Tarot and quite possibly Teal and Green. I think that’s going to prove accurate. A minority government also makes sense to me, but let’s see.

  5. Hey Jessica, hope you’re doing well. I just lost my job today—never thought this would happen, but here I am. As a fixed sign, security is everything to me, and this full moon in Leo really brought the toxic work situation to fruition.
But now I feel so lost… where do I go from here?

    1. I am very sorry you lost your job. It happens to us all and it takes time to take a deep breath, adjust and adapt – and see what it means. You are a Taurus woman with Taurus, Scorpio and Aquarius stelliums. The financial uncertainty ends in July. Until then you need to keep on chopping and changing your budget. You did in fact hit a Full Moon in Leo, which triggered all your stelliums including the two finance signs, so that’s your salary. After July you are on a far more even keel and in 2026 you can farewell this cycle altogether which began in 2018 and has disrupted your bank account, with 2020 being the most dramatic example. So juggle and stay flexible for a bit longer. The ultimate meaning of what happened is to nudge you towards groups, circles, communities, networks – where you will become powerful. You will find your status, clout and personal power grows slowly over time, and it would not have happened, had you stayed in that role. It begins.

  6. Hi Jessica! I would like to hear your insight what´s coming up in Europe, especially in Ukraine. As an European, there is a lot of fears about Trump Putin deal over Ukraine. Future doesn´t seem very optimistic for Europe..

    1. NATO is Pluto in Aquarius. Power within a circle of people, comprising women with equal space and rights, to men. Donald and Vladimir are Pluto in Capricorn – the remains of what ended just a few days after the American election. On this cycle it is quite normal for dictators like Nero, Henry VIII, George III (monarch-dictators) to try and get rid of people power. It fails. The American and Russian leaders will also fail. It is written – and goes back some 2000 years of astrological observation. NATO is very, very powerful and as women rise in its ranks, will become more so. Boys’ clubs don’t really stand a chance on this transit.

  7. Hi Jessica,
I watched on Wednesday night at Sky News and saw a guest was on the show ‘David the Meduim’ and he said before he did predict Trump will win ‘ however he did not say the Trump will go spiral down as what you mentioned before.
Also David did say Peter Dutton will win the election but he said the Teals, Greens votes will be down.
It is very interesting that Sky News are now using psychic medium to predict the elections!
    Thanks,
    Alison

    1. That would be David Stevens on Sky, Alison. Thanks for this – I’d not seen it. He’s calling Dutton as PM. He’s an impressively articulate, clear and straight-to-the-point psychic medium. He does not see a slow downward (continuing) spiral for Donald. I do. It began some years ago, ran right through the big 2020 election failure, across to the departure of Melania from the White House and goes on.

  8. Hi Jessica,

I’m in an interim period, having a meaningful time teaching part-time (the “recipe” that you psychically heard for me came true in working with culinary art students, as well as others) but also within my full-time job, since I’m enjoying sharing space with a school there for the year. I’d be completely happy except for money worries–in many ways everything is what I want but the salary and the money concerns for the original job/organization. I have great relationships at the college. Meanwhile I have applied to two graduate programs in art and art history, in order to qualify for full-time teaching. I asked about my professional future in the way that you suggested and got Apollo, First House, Community, the Well, and Ace of Cups. Ace of Cups and the Well actually have some things in common…. I also asked about the organization’s future where I work, because I want it to continue in its educational mission and I’ve put so many years into it. I got Minerva, The Third House, The Money Woman, Waiting, and Strength. I asked if I was the Money Woman (which I have been in part for them, but not in whole, not solving all problems alone, which my Board has basically expected me to do) and got Page of Pentacles. Would you mind sharing your insights? I feel as if people at work, the ones who work under my leadership, are a little disspirited because I’m trying to move on in my life financially and to find a more solid path. I’d like to make positives for myself and for them.A clearer vision of where I am would be welcome. With one of the graduate programs, I’d need to move. But I have a long term friend there, too. I know that Pluto will conjunct my Jupiter soon… maybe that will fit into the future somehow.

    1. Thank you. My spirit guides don’t always give me clairaudient information, but ‘recipe’ had a double meaning for you. The double-up method of card reading on my website is rather like having a second and third medical opinion so it’s worth using. Apollo in the First House is your relaunch as a leader, with a leading title or similar job description (or qualifications) showing you as an authority. Front and centre. Community is the diverse group involved. The Well is a great symbol of a gift that goes on giving. However you will have to share who/what is there and also look after it. The future of your organization is very good. Minerva in the Third House is the brilliant woman online and perhaps with media, and she is either also The Money Woman or works alongside her. Waiting tells you – be patient. And Strength shows healing. I hope that helps you decode what you are seeing. Hopefully you remembered to put a deadline on your question too. If so, transiting Pluto in Aquarius in conjunction with natal Jupiter will indeed deliver – Community and The Well. And you can date-stamp that.

  9. Hi Jessica,
Thanks for your exploration and writings on Australia and politics.
So many changes are flowing and as life unfolds I embrace health nourishing practices above all else… I am a solo parent, teacher and writer. And meditation nourishes all of life’s moments on this journey.

In reading your passage, I wondered if firstly the Modern I Ching ; Advancing may relate to ‘The Climate Wars’ and devastations therein. And maybe, I felt, this card may be new advancing for the environment, nature and our ‘more than human’ community members. Healing and Health. Advancing on new green energies and ways of caring and ‘winning the war on climate change’.
    I hope….
And women in politics , seem to be holding this same hope.
In doing a reading, I drew the Four of Swords. The mother and child are central here and seem calm, safe in the coloured window sill.
I Ching 57;Calculations. I notice the word Bill on top of card , so looked up 57 Bill in Australian Parliament, it said
‘Section 57 sets out the steps for resolving a disagreement involving a proposed law originating in the House of Representatives’. Sounds similar to your cards shared.
Would love to hear your visions and feelings regarding these cards and all.

I am hoping for improvements in living too?
    Kind regards
    Tara

    1. Thank you for this reading of the Australian election using the cards on my website. The Four of Swords (“Who wins?”) does show a mother and child placed quite dramatically in the picture. And it was clever to read the number of the Modern I Ching card (57) as well as the actual card meaning. That might turn out to be a major House of Representatives issue once we have this divided, diverse power structure after the votes come in. I also hope ‘Advancing’ means an advance on the current climate emergency situation, Tara.

  10. Thinking of the upcoming election, I drew Seven of Wands, the Determined Woman and Elegance. It seems to be similar to your suggestions of the end of the two party system, the rise of women and (hopefully), communication of ideas that benefit the nation.

    1. Thank you! Who and what wins – the female of the species – so your cards do in fact tally with the rise of women (Pluto in Aquarius). The Seven of Wands shows one person battling the many. Wearing green (interesting: perhaps the Greens). So this is about a clash of ideas and a lack of unity, but among people who have similar ideas. This is an exciting dovetail prediction.

  11. Thank you so much! I asked about 2025… Pluto conjuncts my Jupiter Mar. 10, July 1, 2025, and Jan 14 2O26, so I will pay attention.

  12. Dear Jessica

I asked the Tarot “where will Australian society be in 12 months time?”, hoping to glean some hope after the election dust settles.

    I drew The Fool card.
The first thing I noticed was the Union Jack all over his tunic as he walks towards the cliff edge. I wonder if we’re going to see either a break or attempted break from our British heritage with new political parties and/or a doubling-down on White Australia rhetoric? I also noted the White Rose in his hands. This was of course the name and symbol of the anti-Nazi resistance during WW2.

So…maybe a clash of extreme political groups putting Australia on the knife edge?

… I need a gin and a nap! Fingers crossed for us!

    1. Very interesting. You’d have to decide if Australia was going for a republic referendum, or a return to the White Australia policy, or both. I do agree that we are going to see non-consensus and nil compromise between independents, minor parties and major parties. Thank you for your Tarot reading.

  13. Hi
Firstly I just want to congratulate to on your beautiful website and the amazing work you do. It’s so beautiful when someone finds their soul in this world, meaning what they are ment to do on this earth because it’s like watching an eagle fly, it’s so empowering.

I have been through a really difficult period for a few years. I lost everything, now I don’t know what direction to go too.
I also don’t know if my birth chart is saying just take it easy for a while, it will work out.
Or should I just start, now even though I don’t know what direction or if I am strong enough.
The interesting about this election, I think personally is almost like their is a cover up on this election and I mean by saying like an eclipse, no one will see the results coming or the party that will win something is hidden. As we don’t know when it’s going to be.. hidden agenda
This weekend is Perth election and a few weeks after the solar eclipse Roger cook made it public he is going to take over Labour Party. This weekend we have a blood moon, wonder if that is same way connected, will it be end for him or beginning or new beginning for liberal

It’s almost like we are entering a few face. But saying that I think inflation will go back up.. it will get worse for a while,

Love to hear your option. Thank you again. Be safe !

    1. Thank you. The website is beautifully designed by Asporea so I will pass that on to them. I am sorry you lost everything. Did you know that the Tarot and the Modern I Ching are free to use on this website? That will help you steer. And it will also show you some truths about your election.

  14. Hi Jessica

The religious factor could be Zionism (not strictly religious, I know) and the Islamic vote. We have significantly more Muslims in Australia than we do Jews. There will be upsets in some electorates due to how neither major party has supported Palestine and the atrocities taking place in Gaza.

Well, that’s my two cents worth anyway.

    Sharlene

    1. I predicted something rather like it, last year. Please search Mercury Retrograde 2025 for a date-stamped psychic astrology forecast, now coming true, about Mercury in Aries, backwards. Thank you. (Good manners cost nothing, by the way).

  15. Hello Jessica
apologies that this is off topic but I am trying to confirm if the charts for Australians born before 1971 in Victoria in summer are calculated using daylight savings time or standard time. I am looking at an asc in cancer vs gemini and this appears to be related to daylight savings time vs standard time (I think). Thank you in advance

    1. The best thing to do with daylight savings time issues is to use Astrodienst to confirm the chart we give you, if you have any doubts, as it is the internet’s free standard chart calculation service. The local (real) time at birth is automatically calculated when you have your chart issued here; no need to adjust the time, the software does it for you.

  16. Hi Jessica,

Do you use Mars or Pluto as the Ascendant ruler. If Mars is the true ruler then the indications would be the incumbent would win by a country mile. The polls don’t indicate that. If Pluto is the true ruler then the result would be almost a tie.

    1. Scorpio is ruled by Pluto – but it sounds as if you are using a completely different astrology system to me.

  17. Hi Jessica,

Thanks for your post on the election. I live in a conservative electorate with a Teal member (Helen Haines) but I’ll vote Greens. Can you see whether the vote will shift here and whether I will remain in the region? It is very strange living amongst conservatives who don’t share my world view. Thanks, Penny

    1. You are a Scorpio woman with an Aquarius stellium, Penny, and will move when you are ready to transform your life and not before. With Pluto transiting your solar Fourth House, you never just relocate, you change fundamental, core aspects of your entire being. This includes the extended family circle, the household and (if you live alone) your relationship with your origins, history, heritage, ancestors, culture. The most likely times for this kind of upheaval are when the right house or apartment appears, and this will take place from June 2025 to June 2026. I have no idea what your electorate or region is, so can’t comment on your election there.

  18. Jessica! Finally we have an election that won’t be held during mercury retrograde! When did this last happen? how will it have affected the outcome than say, if it was held on 12 April?

    1. The risk of late, late results (contested outcomes) drops when Mercury is behaving normally; so does the risk of a hung parliament. You also end up with a result that is more likely to stick. Donald and James came into power on Mercury Retrograde in the White House and it is entirely possible that one, the other or both will not remain in those roles over the four years. Australia is in a better position, but there will be in-fighting in both major parties and a cross bench at cross purposes. This is a ‘me, me, me’ election both for voters and politicians. Identity politics and all that, especially in marginal seats.

  19. Thankyou Jessica. Your predictions previously on Australian elections and voting issues have been correct so I always check your insights well ahead of the polling day.

Regarding religion, the rise of Christian nationalism and dominionist ideologies is a topic I follow closely and I find it goes largely underreported in Australian media ( with the exception of scrutiny of Islamic extremism, and sometimes even the blanket reporting on Islam AS terrorism in the making ).
You mentioned prejudice, there’s also the Australian Catholic church’s current legal attempt to evade future reparations funds for victims of priests sexually abusing children in their parishes or schools by reframing the T’s and C’s applied to the church for those charges. Other religious bodies will be taking notes too I’m sure. Basically the church is attempting to distance itself from priests’ behaviour by blurring the lines between employee and independent agency of the men of the cloth.

I suspect another issue to be raised will be around the public funding of a highly divided education system in Australia which is criticised to be deliberately unequal by design. But I doubt the two major parties will address these concerns and they may become the dividing lines for more independents? Women and gender identity are not going away as campaign issues either. Minerva magic might tie a few tongues and silently swoop and deliver mesaages on some.

I’m not sure who Albos speech writer is but the delivery he gave on the election announcement sounded like the voice of the social compassionate we heard in his last campaign for the top job. Something distinctly Piscean about his recognition of the plight of the suffering and the conviction that ‘ we ‘ could do better. I generally protect my lugholes from politicians speaking in media but over the last year he hasn’t sounded that clear, in my opinion, but that calm faith and social wisdom came through in his election announcement speech I thought.

    1. Thank you. Christianity and Islam are not on the news radar in Australia at the moment, but we still have four weeks to go. I’ve learned enough about that combination of astrology and Tarot over the years to pay attention and there is a clear focus on religious issues – as you say, it may be about schools – or women. Teals and independents seem likely to swing the election, or single-issue rebels within the two big parties. That rather fits faith questions. Or anti-faith, actually!

  20. Hi Jessica
I asked who wins the Australian Election and accidentally double tapped and drew a card before I’d even thought. It was the Queen of Pentacles.
When I did it properly I drew the Nine of Wands. With the I-Ching I drew The Well card.
I have taken in to account my accidental draw as well.
I think Labor will win in a minority government but the current PM has hurt many of his old allies along the way. I feel he has lost what his principles were and the headache is him not sitting well with his own conscience. I feel a lot of this is to do with Tanya Plibersek. She was a rising star and was seemingly shackled with the Environment portfolio. Lots of things have been happening there that don’t seem to fit where Labor was heading environmentally. The money talked about in the Queen card is her looking at what is being done on behalf of vested interests in Australia. That Queen does not look satisfied.
The Well card indicates everything you have said about working together. Hopefully they can work with the Cross Bench and put the differences aside for the benefit of all that draw from the community well.
One last thought on The Nine of Wands. I feel Mr Albanese has dealt a few too many compromises and can not balance them all. He needs to find his origins again before the “heavy is the head that wears the crown” becomes too much.
Why do I also get a nagging thought of Michaela Cash too.
    I hope this makes sense.

    1. Ah, the phenomenon of the double tap. The Queen of Pentacles can’t be Prime Minister as we don’t have a female leader of either major party (unless something dramatic happens and Albanese or Dutton are replaced – in which case all our jaws will be on the floor). You had the Nine of Wands the second time, which is uncanny, as it goes so well with the Tarot card I drew, showing a group of people who cannot agree, cannot compromise, cannot unite. Your own card shows a wounded outsider against the larger group. If you take the woman you drew first and interpret the question in an oblique way – who/what wins is actually a female in the party, even though she does not lead – you may indeed find you end up with Plibersek or Cash. The Well is a good card to see and I wonder if it has a double meaning in terms of mining companies. This is really interesting; I hope other readers have some comments on what you are seeing, too.

  22. Hi Jessica,
In terms of religion playing a role, I recently had an interesting conversation with my co-worker. She is a young Turkish Muslim woman who lives in the Northern suburbs of Melbourne. She said that in her Turkish community and the wider Muslim community there is a large amount of apathy and hatred towards ALP and Liberals at the present time. They feel Labor has abandoned them over Palestine and that the Liberals are trying to buy their vote with investments in Mosques which feel like hollow gestures, especially as they have had a bad history with the Muslim community for decades. Even though the Greens are supportive of Palestine, many in the community don’t want to vote Greens as they are viewed in unflattering terms. Therefore the Muslim vote in Melbourne and Sydney will be VERY interesting to see which way it could go. Preferences and local Independent candidates could make all the difference in this election. Also I feel there as been a massive change of energy compared to 6 months ago. I feel like there has been a major swing and momentum shift towards the Albanese Government and he could nudge over the line for a majority. Does this have anything to do with the date of the election or am I picking up energy that isn’t there? Either way I can see Greens, Teals and other Indies really coming to the fore in this election more than ever. Have a good day.

    1. Thank you. In particular marginal seats where there is a large religious population, you can see how the cards will play out. I agree; the Muslim vote will be interesting, particularly with one-issue independents. At the moment the polls favour PM Albanese but four weeks is a long time in politics. I agree with you that smaller parties and particularly independent/Teal candidates are going to fracture the usual two party system. That Tarot card says it all; it’s like The Beatles in 1969 with everyone going in all directions. Musical differences!

  23. Jessica in one of your comments you say that the current situation is “highly democratic but pretty unworkable”. Even without looking at the chart or pulling cards, my intuition is telling me that what we are seeing are the true alliances and positions of election players being revealed under Pluto in Aquarius. We are seeing political fracturing as the fug (great word) of Neptune in Pisces dissipates and as a result there will be alot of soapboxes being stood on for this election which ties in with the Teals and Independents. In terms of spiritual regeneration, I see this as coming from the fount of the electorate and what it holds “sacred” – this may or may not have anything to do with religion, but it does have alot to do with faith, belief, vision and charismatic leadership. We are a secular country so this is new for us. I read this chart as that of a country looking for something/someone to believe in from its leadership. Issues of faith are not formally campaigned on in Australia – but the fact of the matter is we all have our beliefs and convictions whether private or not – and perhaps this is what will hold sway and we will end up with a result based on a conscience vote rather than one based on political affiliation.

    1. Pluto in Aquarius is certainly shown in the Tarot. There are major questions about who or what is in control, of the group – be it Liberal/National or Labor. Pluto is always about the need to dominate and the reality of compromise. The fug of Neptune in Pisces, according to astrology – was religion. Pisces rules Christianity and its rivals. It is possible that all this time, various religions had a bigger impact on Australian politics than anyone knew. (Scott Morrison and Hillsong springs to mind). Maybe the exit of Neptune from Pisces is showing up in the cards. Thank you for your interpretation. Four weeks to go!

  24. Hi Jessica,

I just read an announcement from today re: Labor to build a Hindu school. a possible religious link?

I hope Tassie is more sunny than Queensland at the moment. have a great day!

    Kristy

  25. Hi Jessica, I don’t restrict myself to one system, although for election charts where there is an incumbent and a challenger, whichever ruler is most elevated wins. The Ascendant ruler (the incumbent) is lower in the chart than Venus (the opposition). However, the moon Saturn aspect would help Albanese to some extent.

  26. What does the astrology say about Brazil? It’s not election year yet and Bolsonaro is inelligible and on the verge of being declared guilty over, among many other atrocities, leading an assassination attempt against our cu rrent President, VP, and Supreme Court judge… But there’s a chance he could, God forbid, receive amnesty. I’m genuinely scared of the idea of my country becoming a fascist hellhole like what’s happening to the U.S. right now, especially considering we can’t just rely on the youth like we used to because of the recent trend of conservative teens.

    1. The astrology was proven right about Brazil back in 2021 – did you miss that prediction? I was looking at (now) and beyond what happened to Bolsonaro (he refused to change his policies, so in fact did lose power) there was a lot to say about electric cars and buses – this is important – because it’s about your economy, and that’s what will drive votes right or left in the end. Here’s the original prediction.

  27. Hi,
I hope you had a beautiful Easter long weekend.
    It’s election time.
I enjoyed your blog, interesting you are talking about the 5 of wands.
It looks like labour will win the election but what is your opinion:
I have a feeling that the greens and the rest of the smaller parties are going to steel lots of votes from labour and liberal.
To the point that the smaller parties will decide who will be the majority government..
it’s just my opinion. Would love to hear your opinion.
    Thank you

    1. Thank you. The cards spoke a long time ago about this election in Australia and they echoed each other, so I am taking away the message about health care (Medicare and private health care) being a central issue for voters, as well as inner conflict for both parties, and wider disagreement among the independents, together with the two major parties, once the dust has settled. I wrote ‘a cross bench at cross purposes’ and so I agree with you. We are now firmly in Pluto in Aquarius for 20 years and it’s about the way a widespread, highly diverse group of independent individuals can figure out their differences and achieve unity. So here we have single issues (and how) meaning people will take how-to-vote forms, from independents, and forget about the old two parties – and that is going to scatter what used to be a power block for the Liberal or Labour parties. Very similar to the last election but this time, it’s extreme.

    1. I never state winners by name because it deters people from voting (in America, where voting is optional) and in Australia, where it’s mandatory, it can influence outcomes. Some electorates are held by a tiny margin of people; sometimes fewer than 100 votes in the case of the United Kingdom. This website has 2 million visitors a year and I believe in democracy, so do not want to name names in a way that might deter some younger voters from acting, as they feel the outcome is a foregone conclusion. However part of democracy is looking at trends – and the trend for this election is towards mental health and Medicare questions – and also towards the end of a two-party system.

      1. I appreciate the reply. The AEC is so corrupt like so many other voting result counting groups around the world. ( I have 1st hand knowledge. ) The David Stevens via Sky News claim predicting the outcome is brave going by his track record and I hope he is spot on.

  28. Hello Jessica,
I wish I didn’t take so long to process all of the information you provide in a post. I’m still stuck on your April astro where you called 7th – 8th April (thereabouts) and BTC hit 74,000 k with Trump being the 47th president. I will be on the lookout for a retest on July 4th. … anyways … I see the only way for the single. loud pink flamingo to advance is to raise his head so he can see what is going on. Safer putting one foot in front of the other if he is going down hill. He keeps walking down the path with his head below the water. The 5 of wands has a V at the top so everyone is divided. They can’t even agree on which uniform is appropriate but at least they are disjointedly trying to build something together at the last minute as they stand on solid ground. I am becoming more familiar with the concept of religion and service to, according to NN and SN placement thank you. Identify more easily with mental health, medical and hospital, institutions etc … so more history / karma to unlock. The last card represents the infinite and the one. 9 is all. 9 is one. We are all one. Unfortunately I doubt they will re-in-state our allied health benefits because they actually do work in liberating us from the pressures of modern day living and the poor health choices we are encouraged to make. Just look at the two previous cards. They are the choices we are given and the 3rd is what we actually need to achieve. Just an opinion. Thank you Jessica.

    1. Thank you for interpreting the cards. I like the V at the top of the Five of Wands interpretation. We are seeing the divided Australia, just in the candidates. Some want toxic salmon because it saves jobs, others want to force the salmon companies to account. Some want men in women’s public lavatories and change rooms (dressed as women) and some don’t. Some want extremely local issues to be the priority; others worry about the high price of apartments and houses around the country. So we are seeing an extremely diverse and divided outcome even before votes are counted, based on the huge gap between Peter Dutton and independents – particularly women. I agree with your opinion about health. Let’s watch next week!
