It all sounds ominous – and this Eclipse falls directly on my natal sun. I had been thinking of turning 2025 into a year of reducing my career and starting something totally different to ease into retirement – but maybe this a sign to stay put? I have been reflecting back on the last two Aries/Libra eclipse cycles and indeed there were many significant life changing events. My question is this time there is the added features of Mercury and Venus in aspect to my natal Venus at 8:54 Libra.
First off Mercury and Venus were conjunct opposite this point this week, Venus went retrograde opposite this point and Mercury will go retrograde opposite this degree this weekend. The solar eclipse will be opposite this natal Venus on March 29th. Both Mercury and Venus will move forward to oppose this degree next month. What do you make of this rare occurrence to my natal Venus?

Thank you GB. Your natal Venus at 8 Libra is part of a stellium (and you are also a Libran) so in both your solar, Sun Sign chart and also your natal chart, it’s all about the Seventh House. This is about a duet or duel. Perhaps both. It is classically about marriage, professional partnership – or a conflict. Venus is a symbol of complicated relationships and you were born with Venus in your Seventh House, suggesting that there is a lifetime pattern here with your other half (whomever that happens to be at the time) where you have to seriously address the balancing act. Sometimes with a nod to the law, actually, as Libra rules the scales. All this is now coming around again for attention. Saturn and Neptune are moving into Aries where they will oppose your natal Libran patterns in the Seventh House for some time. In your solar chart, you have them going through the Seventh House too. One way to think about these transits is the reconstruction of an existing set of scales you have with (say) your partner, or with a former partner (quite common). Thank you for sharing the post. I have DSC at exact 9 degrees Aries and also Aesculapia at 15. Eclipse seems that will affect my job, workload and I am expecting this to happen, at the end of this month probably the company will make me sign an employment contract terminated by mutual agreement, hope at least with some compensation package for the length of service for it, if I don’t find an internal project until then. I asked the Tarot and eight of swords came out which probably doubles the message, being trapped and waiting for this to happen. Yes, an Aries eclipse is worth skipping if writing/study/neighbours are involved. Just assume you don’t know – and cannot see – and leave any major choices or action for another time. It’s not long to wait (or you can get on with things now).

I feel I have been in a state of limbo going downward with my job and can’t seem to get motivated with any other opportunities. I was hopeful that the eclipse might open a different path but now guessing that probably is not the case. My birthchart southnode is in Aris 22degrees. As a Libra, it looks like my relationships are going to change but is it for the better or worse? I am sorry your husband’s father has passed without warning. You must go to France and you also have a job offer, so don’t know if that’s possible. As a Sun Pisces woman you are extremely sensitive and will be taking your husband’s emotions on board as well as those of other family members. It is set by the time the umbilical cord is cut and all those superficial aspects of yourself like your name, your height and weight, your resemblance to others, your photographs or videos – are your Ascendant. It is one of the least important aspects of your astrology chart but for some reason, people bang on about it endlessly. It only really matters if you are in the press, launching a website with your name on it, having your portrait painted and so on. An Aries Ascendant projects an image of ‘fight or flight’, action not words, and is upfront – also front-and-centre.

The IC or Immum Coeli is your ancestry, history, heritage, culture, family tree. In Aries, you had the army, navy or air force loom large in the family or perhaps sport. You have inherited that astrological DNA and your ‘fight’ in life, but perhaps your need to compete and win, comes from one particular relative, even a few generations back. I am sorry – I have read both your messages now. You must be feeling that this is so much, all at once. You had been talking marriage with your boyfriend, but a fight has just taken place. Thanks for all your insights into the planetary energies and making us aware for best timing about decisions. I understand March and April this year are huge and as the energies are crossing many of my natal planets I’m feeling particularly overwhelmed.
With a Pisces ascendant, Mars and Chiron in Pisces as well as an Aries Stellum (5) including the Sun at 0 degrees 10 minutes, Mercury 7 degrees and Jupiter 24degrees – I feel 2025 is shaping up to be the year where I’m looking down the barrel of unprecedented and out of control change.
At this stage in my life I would like to be winding down from work, in a job I hate and do something different, however, I’m almost 6 years into a nasty divorce which seems to have no indication of resolution in sight. I feel like I’m treading on eggshells one minute and sinking as I tread water the next, trying to keep my finances afloat and not having access to any of the fruits or a 30 year relationship as the ex has frozen them.
In January we finally had a court hearing and the judge refused to give us a date for trial, something my lawyer said she has never experienced. So I continue to sit in limbo. Thanks Jenny. No planetary energies, but certainly cycle timing – and astrology cycles are far, far older than the clock or calendar we use today. I am sorry you hate your job. We all know what that’s like. You also have a nasty divorce going on and of course finance is an issue. The judge has not given you a trial date and so you are playing a waiting game. I will start with your Sun Sign/solar chart as this is queen. You are a Sun Aries woman who is in the most unpredictable financial cycle of her life, but this end in July – and is gone completely from 2026. Karey, this eclipse is in Aries (title, profile, photograph, reputation, name, branding) in your birth chart. I don’t know what time zones you are flying into/out of but adjust for your cities. That’s the brief window when you need to skip acting or judging, as you will not know – and cannot see – what is happening. I’ve had two big wishes since I was in my 20’s , to have a child and finally move to Europe, the latter after ten years of trying after my UK visa expired. Well after a year of failed IVF with donor sperm , I decided not to spend any more money and finally make the Europe dream a reality, in July last year I arrived in the country of my mothers birth, Italy. Deep in my heart I hoped I would meet someone and get pregnant with someone who actually loved me and wanted a family (I’ve always been alone with a dysfunctional and abusive family). I met someone, a Virgo, but he broke up with me and broke my heart in early December. We got back together about six weeks ago, but he has become distant and he says he’s not sure about us, that he is too hurt from his previous relationship and he see’s the same behaviour in me. He already has children, we have unprotected sex but and use the old-fashioned method of birth control of completing outside. Maybe I hoped he was playing with fire on purpose in this regard, but I think I am a very desperate woman at this point. I guess I feel it will end again soon and I feel so desperately sad about it all because this man brought me back to life and showed me what I thought was real love and affection but now has grown cold and distant, maybe there is someone else. My periods have just shortened to 25-day cycles. The eclipse is best avoided in general, for life-changing decisions, but you are on track to emigrate or move to a new city, with a new job, where foreigners will be central to your progress. I’m always concerned about my finances how Trump’s presidency is going to affect me fiscally. I know that many people share my concerns. Thanks for a focus on this upcoming eclipse. My (female) sun is 8 Aries and I won’t be jumping into anything soon but don’t want to be in my current role. I am experiencing major disappointment at work and I only changed jobs 6 months ago in October 2024 after 4 years in a role that stagnated. It was hard enough to decide to leave where I was and make a change I thought would be for the better.
Unfortunately my skills are not being utilised in my current role and my manager (female) is dishonest and rude. I have spoken to my manager about their rudeness towards me which has resulted in minor changes that hasn’t been sustained. I even went to their manager and explained what was happening but even they are not concerned for my wellbeing or others I know who experience my mangers rudeness.
I have received backlash from speaking up and there is now an expectation that I am looking for another role. I am incredulous because this is in government and this manager appears to be getting away with damaging behaviour. I can’t tolerate behaviour at work that affects wellbeing whether it’s myself or someone else. I probably should not have been so quick to call out my managers behaviour but from experience it only gets worse.
I do not know my managers sun sign and I do not think this manager will last much longer because they are upsetting too many people and not handling their stress very well but it’s appears permanent for now and I need to think about my wellbeing and just get away from them. I do not hold much faith in this managers assessment of my skills. I am actively looking for new roles.

You are a Taurus woman being rescued by Jupiter and bankruptcy which will let you off the hook. This is about money. None of the retrogrades or eclipses are in the money signs – they are not in Taurus, nor in Scorpio. So you won’t be affected. I am sorry you have been made homeless and have had mental health issues. You have been told to file a lawsuit about that. If you’re going to do it, do it before June, when there are still safety nets, answers and opportunities around you financially. Thank you. You have the Moon at 0 Virgo in the Sixth House of health, together with a stellium (an unusually high number of Virgo factors). So that’s more important than anything else. This year, for the first time in 18-19 years, you also have the South Node passing through Virgo – again in your Sixth House of mental and physical health. So this is the Year Zero of health rebooting. You may alter your food, drink, fitness, sleep – for example. You may get a new doctor, counsellor, dentist – for example. The reason I say that is that from August to December, transiting Pluto will be at 1 Aquarius, so very close to a quincunx with your Moon at 0 Virgo. I suffered an unexpected heart attack on March 18. I am not a typical patient for such a event, according to the cardiologist. This is very close to last week’s full moon lunar eclipse. Luckily, the blockage of that artery will not impact me, but will need to care for another 50% blockage that was identified. This new reality is life-changing. I had been under terrible stress as well, as a result of taking on burdens that do not belong to me, and getting very angry about it (concerns Capricornian born Jan 7, 1966). I am so sorry about your heart attack, days ago, which must have been a shock emotionally as well as physically. In astrology we always look to the Sixth House of the solar and natal chart for information about illness. You are a Sun Aries woman with a Virgo stellium in the Sixth House. In both systems I use for you, solar (Sun Sign Aries) and natal (birth horoscope) you have major Sixth House or ‘Workload, wellbeing’ patterns. For the first time in 18-19 years the South Node in Virgo is transiting your Sixth House which means you need to spend 2025 and 2026 slowly working through major issues about paid work, unpaid work, housework, study, volunteering and all forms of duty and service. Your cardiologist is helping you with your heart. Last few days post the lunar eclipse its been such crazy times of childhood trauma resurfacing had a very strong fight with my family I am distanced from them they have no clue of my awakening journey or can relate to it more or less the attitude is why me being chosen for the journey . its like every little aspect of my childhood is coming back to the surface its not been a single day I have not slept without crying .I have nothing much on my chart with Aries and why is this so potent for me . I am so sorry you went through trauma in your childhood and are now dealing with it, via the family. You have been crying and (beyond astrology) could do with some help. I don’t know which country you live in, but I strongly recommend the Samaritans online as a first stop. You are not alone and there are organisations wholly dedicated to helping people who are dealing with childhood issues and difficult family situations. This eclipse has nothing to do with that. An eclipse in Virgo is very far from being death – it is a cover-up or blind spot regarding health – and in fact your family loss took place four days after the event anyway. Hi Jessica, your post are always fascinating. I am a Virgo Sun with Mercury, Juno, Jupiter and Saturn in Virgo. I also have a stellium in Libra and Cancer. My Ceres is at 8 degrees in Cancer, my Mercury at 6.34 Virgo and my moon is in Aries at 2.32. I have two partnerships offers at the moment. Both involve foreign business. In both your solar and natal chart (public and private) the focus is on your name, image, identity, reputation and appearance. You have Uranus in Taurus in your solar First House of branding and in your natal chart, many factors in Aries, also in your First House of profile, presentation, packaging and portrait. Skip the eclipse. You simply won’t know and cannot see what is going on, as it may be covered up – or in plain sight – but you do not see it. Decisions specific to the matters above should be bypassed on eclipse day. Later on, when Neptune goes into Aries, then Saturn (from the end of May) you will find the landscape shifts in relation to your exterior and you will have some decisions to make about that. Hi Jessica! I’ve been interested in March 2025/this eclipse for a while ever since I found out it was taking place at 9 degrees Aries. I have my natal Saturn and my MC conjunct at Aries 9 degrees in my 10th house. My Mercury is loosely conjunct at 13 degrees Aries. In addition to those placements, I have other Aries/pisces (mostly being affected by the retrogrades) I have my sun at 2 degrees Aries, Venus 29 degrees Pisces, and South Node 28 degrees Pisces, (all being hit by the retrogrades so maybe not as important).
I have been kind of anxious about the eclipse this week. I honestly love my job/career and am apprehensive with this Saturn conjunct the MC and the eclipse happening there. I keep seeing things written for this eclipse like “might change careers, new job path, etc” which makes me nervous as that doesn’t make sense for me. The only thing I can think of is that I am considering starting a side hustle, and my parents are considering moving which would impact my life in a big way (as a Saturn/midheaven person my parents have definitely had a huge influence in my life). However, I’m mostly interested in understanding Saturn’s role in this. Is this Saturn influence limiting/restricting my career in my chart? Is it something to be worried about on the eclipse? An eclipse does not mean you ‘might change careers, new job path.’ There is a lot of nonsense out there on the internet about what an eclipse means in astrology. Just look at the history. (Have a look at this website for the lowdown on eclipses. Just hit Search). Any eclipse is a cover-up or blind spot. That’s all it is. It lasts 1-2 days and while it’s there you avoid judging or acting. Yes, this eclipse does form a conjunction with your Saturn and MC (Midheaven) at 9 Aries. A transiting New Moon in conjunction with Saturn and the MC in Aries in the First House is a potential new beginning for your name, face, ID, reputation, brand and profile. I said ‘potential’ because you don’t have to do anything about it. In fact, given that you cannot see (and will not know) what is happening, regarding your name, ID, profile – avoid judging or acting. You would not launch your side hustle then. You would not have your photograph taken. Basically you were born with Saturn in Aries in the First House, which is a lifelong pattern of being heavily restricted with self-promotion, being upfront, front-and-centre, in the front line of anything. The restrictions can feel like being ring-fenced. They can occur as shyness or introversion. The eclipse has nothing to do with your brother, as you are a Sun Sagittarius woman and it falls in your Fifth House of lovers and children, as well as younger people. You are asking about something completely different, which is the long, long cycle of Pluto (power and control issues) in Aquarius, which rules your Third House of brothers and sisters. That started in November last year, although it showed up in 2023 as well. Go back to all the decks on here and ask, in some detail and depth, about outcomes if you should sue him. Thank you for your article. I have been diagnosed with an agressive breast cancer in 2023 when my twins were 4 months old. I had mastectomy and had to go back to work during my chemothetapy to support my family. People always appreciated my work but since my return last year, I am getting less and less work. I understand you are tired but you have 8 hours a day for yourself (8 to sleep, 8 to work, 8 to play) so please use one half-hour every day for Dr. Paul McKenna’s free hypnosis on YouTube. So this is independence, writ large. You have had several Independence Days since 2018 and there will be more to come by July 2025, with a final chapter a few months later. Classic examples include moving out; somebody else moving out (or moving on); revamping one room to have more space; reshuffling the family or household.

I discovered that my wallet was missing on 3/29/25. I believe it either fell out of my purse and the next passenger grabbed it, which I think is unlikely, or the driver took it when I had to step out of the car from motion sickness. I have reported it and have taken all steps to check my credit, alert my banks, etc. I keep my ID card/passport separate, so they are safe. Should I be concerned about identity theft? Also, do you think the eclipse has anything to do with my relationship and/or health?

I’m sorry you lost your wallet, Amy. We’ve all been there. You have taken all the right steps. The eclipse was in Aries in your First House of name, face and identity. So, nothing to do with relationships or health, but everything to do with your online ID in particular. Now the eclipse has gone, go back over everything and see what you may have missed. You are not in the dark, as you were, so it should be possible to spot any gaps.
