Changing Your 1995-2011 Relationships
I had so many people on Substack asking me about this feature that I have expanded it for you here. Why are you seeing relationships from 1995-2011 go through such deep change in 2025?
If you are going through a total transformation of relationships, places, organisations or projects from 1995-2011, this is quite usual. This is the Pluto in Aquarius cycle, which began last November 2024 and is now building.
I will look at your solar and natal chart in this feature to pinpoint what (or who) is shifting. Basically, whatever you constructed in your life with someone important during the last big Aquarius cycle, is now altering shape.
From 1995 to 2011 you experienced Neptune and Uranus in Aquarius in one area of your life.
Back then it was an escape from the real world. It was also confusing. This part of your world was an ongoing revolution. It set you free but it was also wildly unpredictable. This is what Neptune and Uranus do.
It may have been your cosmetic surgeon (over many years). Your bank manager. Your brother, sister or cousin. A sexual partner. A boss. It may have been a personal trainer. An accountant. Your neighbour.
Your mother. Your child. Your enemy or opponent. Right now what you are seeing is shape-shifting with this person, or around them.
What Your Solar Chart Shows
Look up your sun sign or the signs of the people you know, below, to see how over a decade, way back then, altered everything, forever. Your solar chart or Sun Sign chart shows the public you. Your public and known face. That’s because everyone knows your sign. Or your birthday.
Nobody knows your time of birth except you and perhaps your parents and the midwife. Very few people know where you were born. So that’s the private you. I work with two charts, solar and natal, to show what’s happening. But first –
Are you 14-30 Years Old?
Then you were born with a major ‘change’ statement around friends and groups – forever. That’s being triggered now, for another 20 years, with Pluto. You’ll do this through social media, but also in the real world. You were born with Uranus and/or Neptune in Aquarius in your Eleventh House of networks and circles, brotherhood and sisterhood. So you were ‘born this way’ and now that’s transforming. Why? Pluto is in your Eleventh House. It’s not just the world changing around you (new media like Substack to challenge Twitter – new media like Bluesky to challenge Facebook) it’s also your own character – as a friend.
How Your Sun Sign Is Affected
Image, reputation, appearance, height, weight, fitness, body language, presentation, packaging, name, title, self-promotion, identity, profile, wardrobe, shoes, hair, skin, face, social media. For example, John Travolta is now playing a master criminal instead of a policeman in High Rollers. This is a total image change for him – along with his new bald, shaven-head look. So the primary relationship he had with, say, a stylist or a publicist on the last cycle – now transforms.
Capricorn
Finances, property, charity, business, shopping, selling, insurance, business, shares, exchange, barter, bargains, discounts, profits, losses, banks, values, principles, ethics, morals, taxation. For example, Orlando Bloom just signed a deal to become the face of Porsche. The primary relationship he had on the last cycle, say, with an accountant or bank manager, a business manager – shifts.
Sagittarius
Newspapers, magazines and newsletters. Television and radio. Microphones and telephones. Brothers, sisters and cousins. Neighbours and neighbouring places. Short haul travel. For example, your fellow Sagittarian Brad Pitt has discovered he is Barack Obama’s ninth cousin.
Scorpio
Property, real-estate, home, family, ancestors, extended families, history, heritage, roots, origins, renovations, redecoration, patriotism, clan, local accent, home town and country. For example, Katy Perry just won her $15 million real estate battle. Another Scorpio, Charles III is dealing with his estranged son Harry and his grandchildren. That’s a simple example. On the last Aquarius cycle, Charles had a particular relationship with his siblings and former mistress, Camilla. Big shift!
Libra
Courtship, the bedroom, heirs, spares, pretenders to the throne, pregnancy, abortion, miscarriage, fostering, godchildren, adoption, children, teenagers, young adults. For example, Kate Winslet recently won a BAFTA playing the mother of a teenager consumed by social media in I Am Ruth, a miniseries in which she starred alongside her daughter, Mia Threapleton. Primary relationships last time around, shift this time around.
Virgo
Daily routine, mental health, physical health, workload, work ethic, schedule, diary, food, drink, drugs, doctors, surgeons, nurses, alternative practitioners, exercise, healing, service, duty. Virgo Prince Harry’s mental health (mental fitness) firm BetterUp is a good example of transformation, now. If you are a Virgo, it may be your old doctor who is shape-shifting with you. Perhaps, your old psychologist.
Leo
Marriage, de facto relationships, legal separation, divorce, legally binding partnerships, professional duets, platonic partnerships, enemies, opponents, all duets and duels. For example, Princess Beatrice has given birth to her second baby with Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi. The major relationships around you back then, transform now. So your godson, for example, who was a baby on the last cycle, is now a man and he is becoming important to your business. An old lover you were at war with is now transforming into your new-again lover.
Cancer
Inheritance, wills, legacies, mortgages, taxation, pre-nuptial agreements, divorce, separation, marriage, de facto relationships, all sexual and financial relationships, family-based finance. Elon Musk’s former girlfriend Ashley St. Clair just announced she is the mother of his 13th child, now five months old. Whenever you go back to the last Aquarius cycle relationship you find a major shift. This may even be with Elon’s mother.
Gemini
Universities, colleges, publishing houses, libraries, Latin, translators, maps, atlases, globes, globalisation, immigration, foreigners, foreign travel, the worldwide web, the airline industry. Your fellow Gemini Noel Gallagher will tour the world with brother Liam in an Oasis global reunion in 2025. It doesn’t take much to see that the sibling relationship as it used to be, is shape-shifting.
Taurus
Success, ambition, mission, position, institutions, the establishment, High Society, corporations, companies, the professions, academia, vocations, roles, goals, achievement. Taurus Adele announced a complete break with the music industry in November 2024 as this cycle began. (Shutterstock). So her former colleagues and staff, employers and so on within the business are now shape-shifting around her. Why? She’s out.
Aries
Friends, groups, networks, social media, people power, communities, the collective, communes, societies, associations, charities, clubs, teams, cults, allies, the UN, NATO. Reese Witherspoon recently made headlines about an ex-friend who dropped her (rumoured to be Kate Winslet). Aries men may have been seeing a pop group shift around them, or groupies around the pop group. Aquarius rules the circles upon circles in your life. An old friend may transform into a lover, for example.
Pisces
Hypnosis, dream interpretation, Carl Jung, therapy, counselling, religion, spirituality, therapy, Buddhism, Christianity, Islam, Judaism, the Tarot, spiritualism, psychics, self-help, psychologists. Rihanna just gave up alcohol for a year. This is about a shift on the inside. Everything changes within and so this may mean your psychologist shifts shape for you, or a pastor who was your confidante at that time. The old Aquarius cycles are being replaced.
Do You Have Aquarius Factors?
These factors in your Eleventh House of friendship, brotherhood, sisterhood, social media and your social life (in fact, all groups) then the people who mattered in 1995-2011 are now much changed. So are you. Maybe they are no longer in your life but have left a long shadow. That can alter too, now. Aquarius the water-bearer is the person who supplies the group. She gives the collective or community what it needs. This old-fashioned water jug, below, shows the principle.
The recent reunions or recommitments since November 2024 are powerful and will transform you yet again – and deeply alter the shape of the particular network, circle, society, team, social media website, association, trade union, band, team and so on. Some people may be passing right out of your life. Or coming back.
If you have Aquarius factors at 0, 1, 2, 3 degrees of the sign, then this is happening now, or will take place later in 2025. Transiting Pluto will be ‘on’ a particular part of your chart. It’s called a conjunction and it only happens about every 248 years.

If you are Aquarian by nature you may have a stellium there. Even just a couple of factors in Aquarius is important, though. Since November 2024, old friendships from the past, or old groups you belonged to, are transforming.
Watching Generation Z
Generation Z born in 1997-2011 are right in the frame for this total transformation. They were all born with Neptune or Uranus in Aquarius. This is the generation who grew up with Teletubbies – the group writ large. The community of the diverse, you might say. Well, Gen Z also had friendship front and centre, all through their childhood. Particular classmates or teammates are now shifting shape.
Their destiny was always about the group. The community. Friendship was always at the heart of their entire generation. Sometimes – more important than family or marriage.
Slowly but surely, over the next 20 years, Gen Z will transform themselves and their social circles, social media and global networks and find real power. We are already seeing that with the rejection of Facebook, Instagram and X-Twitter in favour of social media where Gen Z feel they have control.
We have never seen anything like this generation, in our lifetime, and we have no experience at all of what is about to transform. But – it will. And it will change the planet too. This is early days yet, as Pluto in Aquarius is months in. It takes years. But it’s coming.
Watch August and September 2025
To see peak transformation of the relationship, place, situation or organisation which was so central to you in 1995-2011, watch the days when Pluto is at 1 degree, Uranus is at 1 degree and Neptune is also at 1 degree. This is a rare line-up in your chart. What you had (or what is left of it) will undergo a complete change and it will set you and the other person free. How that transpires is personal to you.
August 21st to September 14th is Historic
On a global level, watch Facebook, YouTube, X-Twitter, Substack, Instagram. Watch new arrivals to challenge them. This Aquarius-Gemini-Aries pattern in the heavens is about social media, new online innovation and our faces. What is coming will change the web forever. You are in a position to take full advantage of what is ahead, which will involve real-time instant translation; a superior version of Zoom; spaces where you can adopt a different sex, name, age and race – and digital identity shifts.
The Aquarius part of the equation is Ye Olde Internet. The old, old version of digital you had many years ago. Now Pluto is coming in, this is going to alter profoundly. In fact, despite the rise and rise of the internet corporates, Pluto in Aquarius is certain to transform their power.
User-Owned Social Media
User-owned social media will become powerful and popular from August 21st to September 14th 2025, with a reboot of an existing website (to allow users to purchase shares) or the launch of a brand new rival to take on Instagram, TikTok and the rest.
People born 1995-2011 will be the first to buy shares (or contribute in other ways, earning a stake).
This is the natural outcome of Pluto in Aquarius (people power), Uranus in Gemini (the internet revolution) and Neptune in Aries (image and identity).
Crowdfunded and Crowd-Rewarded Media
Take the funding success of Pozible, GoFundMe and the rest and add social media – and you have a revolution waiting to happen. The astrology suggests launch, August 21st to September 14th.
Forget Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg. Black Rock (Tik-Tok) and even Jay Graber. This is about ‘We, the people.’ And we will be stakeholders in the new online communities, likely holding cryptocurrency shares.
This will change politics. The massive problems for democracy created by Zuckerberg and Musk with all their power and money will end (goodbye Pluto in Capricorn) as Pluto in Aquarius really kicks off. The big bump is August 21st to September 14th.
Do You Have Factors at 0, 1, 2 Degrees?
If so, your life will change in three different areas at once, during the Pluto-Uranus-Neptune patterns at 1 degree. You will find rare transits pick up those parts of your chart. Pluto empower. Uranus liberates. Neptune offers an alternative to the real world.
Pluto in Aquarius, Uranus in Gemini and Neptune in Aries suggests it will be friends and groups, the internet and short journeys, image and appearance which turn things in a new direction for you. So, for example, if you have the North Node at 1 Cancer this is about real-estate. If you have Jupiter at 1 Sagittarius it’s about emigration. And so on. Thank you for amazing blog! I have a lot of pisces in my birth chart, what will be big changes for me and what I need to look out for? thank you!
You have a stellium in Pisces including the South Node in your Twelfth House. In your last lifetime you were a nun, monk or other similarly religious/spiritual person. You carry that into this lifetime, hence your intuitive understanding of everything from paganism to the Roman Catholic church. Strong feelings for or against religion, God, the gods, the church, alternatives banned by the church are pretty common. The big switch year is 2025 with the end game, 2026. The reason for this is that we have the end of the North Node in Pisces, the end of Saturn in Pisces and the end of Neptune in Pisces. They track each other in the heavens with the sign-off next year. You may quit Tarot, for example, or end your trust in a particular religious belief. You may finish with witches and witchcraft, if you even went down that murky path or call it quits with a particular hypnotist. Pisces and the Twelfth House are associated with psychiatric treatment for anxiety or depression (the psychiatrist being today’s priest) as well as Jungian therapy, the aforementioned hypnosis and even something as basic as quantum theory and scientism. We all need an explanation to fill the void. Your particular explanation will end in 2025, 2026 to be replaced by something else and it will change your life.

Uranus will oppose Uranus and Ops at 0 Sagittarius from July 2025 so be extremely careful with foreigners, foreign countries, emigration, migrants, travel. This is going to hit billions of people around the world as so many were born with the outer planets, Uranus, Neptune, Pluto at 0 Sagittarius and Uranus will meet these head-on. Bear this in mind if you are considering emigrating, exporting and so on. You also have Minerva (wisdom, deep female intelligence) at 2 Gemini so will experience Uranus in conjunction with Minerva a little later. As you go into the second half of the 2020s new inventions, innovations and exciting, liberating new developments with computers, phones, the media, will radically change how you write, broadcast, use languages and so on.

If I’m not mistaken it is relevant to view a chart within one degree removed from the current transit. In my birth chart, I have the MC at 29 Aries and IC at 29 Libra. Is that relevant here? I also have Proserpina at 01 Gemini. What does this represent? BTW: I pulled the Four of Wands in the Tarot to get clarification on what might be shape-shifting for me. Thanks for your insights! Yes, you can use a one degree orb (one degree’s difference) in a modern astrology chart. In an old-fashioned 20th century astrology chart, use up to nine degrees’ orb. Emma, your Four of Wands echoes your chart. It shows a happy family reunion or important gathering of friends who feel like an extended family. From this party, celebration or weekend comes a lot of talk and a lot of potential for the future. Your IC shows where you come from; your roots; your ancestors, heritage, history and culture. In Libra it shows a couple or pair – this may be your parents, aunt and uncle, and so on. Maybe deceased great-grandparents. Yet this is the portal through which you enter to some very happy reconnections and reunions. Transits going across 29 to 0 will trigger it, so this is 2025.

Pluto is a hard taskmaster. Yet it can transform your life for the better. Pluto is associated with dogs as he had a guard dog called Cerberus. If you think about being pulled hard on the lead (making your arm stronger) and being virtually forced to walk twice a day by a hound (making you fitter) you are on track. Nobody really loves Pluto but if you go with it and understand that willpower is everything, you will become far more potent and effective as a human being. Kimberley, your 0, 1, 2 placements suggest 2025, 2026 changes your ambition, position and mission to your total advantage. Jupiter in Capricorn in your Tenth House is a lifelong source of good fortune, help, redemption and protection and here we have a Jupiter-Jupiter opposition in June, July together with other aspects that trigger your need to climb, make it to the top and stay there. This is a project or role you need in your life. Take care with foreigners and foreign countries though as Uranus at 2 Gemini will eventually oppose Neptune at 2 Sagittarius so if you do intend to travel abroad, emigrate or have much to do with foreigners, be aware of that clash in the heavens. I hope the Age of Aquarius truly arrives, and that Capricorn plutocrats who are out of sync with the times finally disappear.
I have Apollo at 2 degrees Gemini (Saturn is at 29 degrees Pisces, so I’m not sure if it has any influence on the Uranus-Pluto-Neptune configuration). I am a freelance journalist with several media projects that are set to launch or peak in August/September (a book, a TV show, and the launch of a media brand). I am planning modern monetization methods (such as pay-to-view) and expansion onto platforms that are currently alternative but may become mainstream by then. These projects carry my name in their branding, so I’m curious whether Neptune in Aries supports personal branding. As I mentioned, I have Apollo at 2 degrees Gemini, and I also have a stellium. During the critical period you mention, I will be experiencing my Jupiter return in Cancer, where I also have a stellium.
I am also planning to create a unique media center in my own home.

You are in luck in Bosnia being bilingual, perhaps multilingual, as we are going through Jupiter (fortunate expansion and great growth) in Gemini in your Third House of languages, digital, the media and Artificial Intelligence. Later on in July Uranus moves into Gemini for many years into the future so your timing is right. Uranus will go to 2 Gemini and form a conjunction with your Apollo, so your leadership within the media and online will very suddenly change, giving you far more freedom and independence than before. This sounds like not just your own brand or innovation, but the impact of a new wave of internet. Your Jupiter Return in Cancer is about your home, home town, homeland. Also the family circle and the household. You will begin to see opportunities to have more, do more and enjoy more with this, from June 2025. It is the Gemini stellium which will change your life, though and in true Uranus style it will happen in intermittent short bursts, like electrical storms and involve brand new inventions. I should have thought the shift in the European borders will also directly affect you along with the new innovations with trains, flights, electric transport. Dear Jessica, I hope I am lucky to get a response given the volume of outreach for your insights. As you had predicted in June 2022, Pluto and Cap at 29, I gave my resignation in February after an incident happened on January 29th. However, looking back, it all started in June 2024, peaking December 2024 to close in January 2025. I was planning to retire in Fall on 2026 given the workload but it was not meant to me as the autocrats decided that I will continue to slog while they dictate. I stopped it with my 2.5 weeks notice which turned it upside down for them. Now, I have a different phase – Pluto in Aquarius and I have a stellium in Aquarius. I may be a Cap but I am a servant leader always for the people and have compromised my life for the common good of the community and others underserved. Can you please review my chart and provide your insight on this change happening now. Thank you for all that you do.
Thank you. You will find the chopping and changing with your workload and lifestyle goes on for a little longer as freedom and independence are very important this year and from July, you enter a new cycle when you can either choose space, or find space chooses you. This can happen because you resign, go into a hybrid career of working part-time or job sharing, are given your notice and so on. This cycle takes time and it will be some years in the making but ultimately you will end up feeling liberated. The key is to consciously be in charge of the process rather than wake up one day to find the stagecoach has overturned without your permission. That is an analogy for Uranus, as it happened to Caroline Herschel, who helped her brother William discover the planet. She was thrown into a new life in Britain literally with the carriage on its side. Slogging under dictators is what she did (her parents) and broke free. With the huge impact of Uranus on your natal and solar chart now and ongoing, it is time to ‘do a Caroline.’

You are made for the future of social media, with those chart patterns. It’s not idealistic to imagine a world where our current need for Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, TikTok is replaced with a website which is about the people, not the boss. In fact it is absolutely right for these times and you would be first on board to make it work. Substack is as close as it gets at the moment, but what we are waiting for is that combination of eBay, Pozible and so on, which empowers the users and not the politicians who are trying to use – the users.

Thank you. I like hard work, as I have a Virgo stellium. I also think astrology deserves hard work; we stand on the shoulders of giants in our profession and we owe it to them, to do that. You want to start a relationship with a friend. You have enough Leo and Libra in your chart (the Fifth House rules the bedroom; the Seventh House rules commitment) that you are on track for a serious new partnership, either with him or someone else, as Jupiter goes into Leo in 2026 and will form a series of conjunctions with your Leo placements and sextile your Libra placements. So slow and steady is correct. Of course you can follow Robert Smith’s advice in The Cure and get together before then, but the big leap forward would come next year and also in 2027. The other thing going on here is a series of trines and oppositions from Saturn and Neptune in Aries, which is bound to motivate you, sometimes because there is a challenge. The Tarot can help you here. This is a long-range transit and it suggests that you are moving into a new phase of your love life for some time. Perhaps he is the one.
Thank you Jesica, I’m a new member and trying to figure this out. I am planning to leave my current position at a non-profit institution which initially hired me in 2002. I left for a couple of years to pursue a graduate degree, then returned to the same organization and served in a different capacity from 2007/08 to present. I would like to explore something new, create something new and hope you might give me some guidance. I did the astrology oracle and received Hygeia and the 5th house which makes sense to me in that I want the work i do next to help, in some way, my new granddaughter (born Jan 26) and women in general – if that might be a legacy I could leave through my work in this next stage of life.

If you have Mercury in Aries, the arrival of Saturn and Neptune in Aries in March and May, is a reminder to use your name, face, brand, reputation and whole-body self (the full-length photograph or video) to push forward in life. This is a relaunch year for you. Aries is ruled by Mars the Roman god of war and in turn rules the First House of first impressions – how one arrives – how one is judged by appearances. With Mercury there you can talk or write your way into making that kind of impact on others and it becomes very much more important in 2025.
Fascinating article Jessica. I do have 0,1 degree factors in Aquarius, Aries and Gemini, also Libra. In the last few months, I am ruminating on filing for sick leave from my job. Thank you. The Aquarius-Aries-Gemini combination is common with people who use the internet to become involved with group or team ventures; Aquarius factors incline towards the diverse community and the circle of allies and friends with whom one shares a collective goal. It may be as basic as a charity or a Saturday night curry club or as profound as Greenpeace. Aries is your ability to be in the front line, or upfront front-and-centre with such a collective and Gemini is the online connection. Gemini connects people, places and ideas, as does Mercury its ruler. So if your job is not giving you that, you need to get it from unpaid work. And if you want to feel happier about work, you need a new job which will allow you to be who you are, as above.

A Moon-Saturn conjunction in Aquarius is unusual and important, as Pluto goes to 0 Aquarius for the first time in 248 years. Your maternal instinct is directed towards your friends and the groups around you, as mothering others comes naturally to you and there is a great need to be needed, with friendship often feeling far more like mother and son, or mother and daughter. You also have this capacity with a club, team, association, society, or other formal circle; even a social media website. Thank you. We use different house systems, so Chiron in Aries is not in your Eleventh House. If you work in healthcare and healing, though, it’s best to look at not only Chiron (which is about the attempt to heal, rather than any guaranteed results) but also Aesculapia and his daughters Hygiea and Panacea. Aesculapia is far more powerful in terms of rescuing and saving people and was the Romans’ chief healer (they gave us our modern astrology too). As you might expect, the two asteroid daughters are about prevention not cure (Hygiea) and also the placebo effect (Panacea) but also any ethical question about medicine – so, for example, euthanasia or abortion. When you look at your chart you will see they are all locked into strong patterns. A terrific new opportunity will open up from the second half of 2026 into the first half of 2027 when you could easily expand your career.

Ukraine is very special and although Russia lost the war back in 2023 (as President Biden said) they have hung on, losing men and money, for a reason; they were waiting for Donald. We use different house systems so I need to spin your chart to read it. I expect you are talking about love and sex, which the Seventh House and Fifth House rule. Ceres, Pluto, the IC and North Node are all in Libra in your Seventh House, which describes marriage, de facto relationships, former partners, divorce, separation and affairs. You have a stellium in Gemini so the relationship with your sibling has been crucial since you were small. As you say – like your best friend. The Scorpio music industry man I felt was the person I’d been waiting for, said he had reached maximum capacity with work being his primary focus, and could not offer me more or any form of commitment, even dating. I am sorry about your stepchild with mental health problems. You have the MC at 1 Leo and North Node at 10 Leo. For the first time in 248 years, Pluto is at 1 Aquarius, opposing your MC. It has made me think… perhaps a bit off topic but still; I have always wondered about my relationship with my oldest sister (I have two). Thank you. The biggest changes will involve your family circle, over a period of some 20 years. A shift in the usual balance of power has already begun, but it may not be until the start of 2026 that you realise how a game of musical chairs in the family results in even more reshuffles later.
