About Saturn and Neptune
Saturn restricts. It limits and restrains. It bars and blocks. Astrology runs on synchronicity and Saturn is the ringed planet. The rings are walls, parameters, boundaries, fences and gates. You cannot get in or you cannot get out. The only thing to do is bide your time – to wait.
Neptune could not be more different, which is why this double transit needs so much thought. Neptune is about zero boundaries. Neptune is the ocean. The North Node goes from Aries to Pisces on 11th January. So, in 2025, you are up for major switches all round. The North Node describes karma going back 18-19 years prior. Life is on a loop until you gain spiritual closure.
The South Node From Libra to Virgo
This is the other big change if you have stelliums in Libra and/or Virgo. Again, the South Node shows karma from 18-19 years prior. Life is on a circuit until you achieve closure. Jupiter from Gemini to Cancer
Jupiter goes out of Gemini and into Cancer on 9th June. Out of your Third House and into your Fourth House. Jupiter is expansion, growth, solutions. He is optimism and ‘maximisation’. Uranus From Taurus to Gemini
Uranus goes out of Taurus and into Gemini on 7th July. He is retrograde so goes back and forth between both signs. If you have stelliums in Taurus in your Second House and/or Gemini in your Third House, this is a slow revolution for you. You can find out more about the houses, or life areas, below.
No Stelliums In Those Signs?
You’ll simply be affected less. When you have a stellium in a sign and house, you ‘live’ in that house for much of the time. It’s where we find you. It’s where you belong and where you go back to base. It can be difficult or easy, depending on the transits, but it’s who you are, what you do (and what you are here to achieve).

Thank you again for this amazing content, I really do appreciate your generosity in sharing your knowledge with us. following astrology has really helped me plan things better as I’m starting to realise its all about the timing sometimes and I kind of relate it to the weather such as, if its raining take an umbrella … if its mercury retrograde try not to sign paperwork or book holidays , but if I really have to be extra vigilant on reading the fine print and plan a,b, c etc.and maybe expect the possibility of unexpected changes.
I am wondering about housing for myself at the moment. having moved to Queensland around the time Saturn and Pluto changed signs in march 2023, I haven’t really found permanent accommodation for myself and my belongings are still in storage. I know a lot of other women are facing the same predicament and are part of growing group on social media, trying to help each other. I am grateful that I have a room presently, although not ideal I feel lucky to have it. I do have a feeling that I’m playing the long game, and am hoping to get a more permanent home next year probably mid year, so am just waiting it out and preparing myself financially while I wait. I’m wondering if you can see anything here for me and maybe women in general regarding housing.

Thank you Susan. It’s very kind of you to say. You are in Queensland and need a home, in common with many women caught out by Australia’s dire property situation. In general, state and/or federal governments will rescue us from mid 2025 to mid 2026 when Jupiter (solutions) goes into Cancer (real estate) until mid 2026. Common sense says this is a huge election issue and of course they are going to act. You don’t really want to wait around, though, as your belongings are in storage. You are a Sun Capricorn with stelliums in Capricorn, Leo, Scorpio and Aquarius. You are almost at the end of the most disruptive financial cycle in years, as Uranus has been in Taurus, in opposition to your Scorpio factors in the Eighth House of money and property. That ends halfway through next year. What also starts, halfway through next year, is Saturn and Neptune in your Fourth House of real estate, rental and housing – in your solar chart. So although I said you don’t really want to wait six months, your charts both say that it will be the second half of 2025 and onwards that is the really important, long-term change. The growing group of women on social media helping each other is your answer in the meantime. That’s Aquarius. You are strongly Aquarian and will find your power there. Collectively you are all quite powerful and you may want to push this, particularly in January and February next year. Anything has to be better than this year. After years of Pluto in Capricorn and working for one abusive, violent-tempered male after another (several different companies / supervisors but always the same scenario) I finally reached my limit and quit my most recent disaster without another job at the end of July, wrecking my financial position and blowing up my career.
I spent August with my cat who was dying (he passed in September), spent October grieving his loss hard and searching unsuccessfully for new opportunities, November taking care of my sister who had surgery and mother who is having age-related health issues and now December trying to find work again. I am at risk of losing my home; so much for the 2024 big real estate gains (I can’t sell if I’m not current on my mortgage, I have to hand it over or go through foreclosure, so no profit either way) and / or remodeling/ repairs this year, I will be lucky to remain with a roof over my, my mom and sister’s heads. If I lose it I truly have no means, credit or place to go.
I am trying to make the best of meager circumstances, stay positive, cope with my inability to pay my bills (which does not sit well with me at all), make changes and get to the root cause of my association of money with abuse because I have to get over it, break through this blockage, heal and move forward. This constant state of survival mode that I’ve been in for months now is exhausting, especially with no end in sight.
Hopefully these 2025 changes help (I have Aries and Aquarius stelliums), especially Pluto’s. It’s funny, I never married (no desire to), instead invested so much into my career so I could be financially independent and have my own home all because I wanted to avoid the instability and abuse my mother and grandmother faced because they were financially dependent on their husbands and when I look up the last 16 years or so Pluto in Capricorn delivered it to me in the workplace instead…obviously I have to change, but good riddance nonetheless!

It sounds as if the ulterior motive from the universe here, was to get you to spend time with your cat, your sister, and your mother. Far more important than work politics. You mentioned ‘so much for big real estate gains’ but are only halfway through the cycle of Jupiter in Gemini in your Fourth House, which ends in mid 2025. The gains are always there when you take the opportunities. If you don’t take the options, there is no gain, unfortunately. I would expect you’ve been offered good choices with a house, apartment or alternative residence but perhaps you declined. In any case, you have six more months of Jupiter in your solar Fourth House to go. You’ve not mentioned groups, friends, teams, clubs, communities, unions, societies, bands, associations at all. I find that puzzling as that is where your power is. In fact, it is where your power has been building since November. It has nothing to do with your last job, your mother, grandmother or sister – it is entirely to do with the collective and it is the diverse community that will change your life.
Hi Jessica, Thank you for the thorough calendar as I know I will need it to keep track. The year I have been dreading has finally come. I’ve been trying to prepare for my Saturn return but it feels like a powder keg is about to go off as soon as it hits my birthday on July 13th. I’ve been in upheaval for some time with my husband remaining unemployed now for almost two years (Big Capricorn Stellium and his Saturn return in Pisces) and now Pluto is in opposition to his Leo Sun. I honestly don’t know if we will survive this situation if I lose my job (lots of chaos and big changes happening at my place of work), too. I’ve tentatively started to look for cheaper places to live if things get any worse. Should I also add look for a new place of employment as well? At age 56, I don’t know who would want to even hire me. Thanks for any insight you may be able to offer.
I am sorry your husband has been unemployed for two years. You are worried about job loss. You are a Sun Cancer woman, with stelliums in Cancer, Libra, Aries and Scorpio. The worst is over with your husband/for your husband and there will be a fresh start in January 2025. You can’t really go wrong with the end of Pluto and Ceres in your Seventh House of marriage, in your solar chart – and the end of the South Node in your Seventh House of marriage, in your natal chart. You have paid your dues and the cycles are closing. The changes at work are Chinese Whispers mixed with decisions that will change or be cancelled by January 3rd so don’t get too caught up in what is apparently happening. You will be offered a project or job from mid 2025 which is an escape from the real world. A holiday from the everyday in fact. That Cancer-Virgo combination in your chart will work very well for you from mid 2025 until mid 2026 as Jupiter goes into Cancer and your Fourth House of real-estate, home, home town, homeland, leases, house ownership, gardens, apartment ownership, family and household. I have been ‘stuck’ in Neptune at 27 Pisces (with my Saturn at 27 Pisces) for so long, I am hoping for some breathing space when this transit moves on. But am I right? The last few years have been very tough with a very heavy out-of-control workload, not much ability to improve the situation (when I tried I always failed), and my health suffering as a result. I also have nodes in Taurus/Scorpio and I am slightly worried about the move to Pisces/Virgo and the added effect it could have on my health. Am I reading this right? Thank you for any thoughts.
You have a Virgo stellium in the Sixth House of health, wellbeing, doctors, chronic conditions, sudden medical issues, food, drink, fitness and lifestyle. It can never be separated from paid work, unpaid work, housework, duty and service (even walking the dog twice a day). You are now seeing what can happen when Saturn and Neptune in Pisces move slowly in opposition to your Sixth House factors over a number of years. There is no shortcut. Unless you change your workload, your body will continue to ‘talk’ to you. If the only way you can get out of particular tasks, chores, responsibilities and roles is to be unfit for duty, your subconscious may in fact do that for you. Time off or even total departure is a sure sign that your Virgo stellium is not happy. Foreigners and foreign countries are where the greatest source of change is from mid 2025 for many years into the future. A completely different way of dealing with foreigners in your own country is also coming. This will involve a better understanding of language, or accents, or cultural ‘slanguage’. Thanks Cecelia. I am hosting a Zoom session with Zane Stein about the exit of Saturn and Neptune from Pisces, and the entry of the North Node into Pisces, in 2025 – on this very subject. With factors at 6 through 26 of Pisces in your Twelfth House, you live there a lot of the time; you live alone, in meditation, with your religion or spiritual belief; with your chakras and aura; with your therapist or counsellor, hypnotist, priest and so on. I haven’t put my roots down anywhere since, and I would love to move back to QLD ? where I can hopefully find the place to connect.
I feel I need to make big changes in 25 but not sure still what to do.
I’m enjoying not working at present, but at the same time I would still like to do something that would be fulfilling. I am passionate about travel as was even thinking of travelling overseas next year?

Yes, the back of Pluto in Capricorn is good news. Your Virgo stellium tells you that your subconscious mind plays a big part in being diabetic. He’s currently dealing with a third occurrence of melanoma and is on an immunotherapy regimen. He had a dream this morning that a huge spider came at us while we were hiking. He threw a blanket over the thing, which slowed it down (I assume indicating the immunotherapy) and then we both used my sharpened walking stick to stab it. He woke up before he could tell if we’d killed it. Can you provide any additional insight in regard to what you mention in your article? His doctor thinks they caught it early enough and assured us prognosis is often good under these circumstances, but we’re still nervous, obviously. Thank you!

I have Capricorn and Aquarius stelliums being scorpio sun and indeed last months were so stuck, overwhelming for me, being a leader in a group but restrictive to exercise this role and due to organizational and management changes I will need to switch to a new project from January. I have stelliums in Libra, Cap, Virgo and Taurus and am wondering if you could please give me any insight into how all these planet changes will affect me.
I started a new job Feb this year, which I love, after leaving a very toxic job in the same industry (I’m only new to the industry also, two and a half years). My job new is fab with a wonderful management team, which has taken me a very long time to find. Funnily enough though, three months ago we discovered that I have the largest workload of all my team. I always seem to get heavy workloads, which I manage, so I’m guessing that is my Virgo stellium. Management discovered this and have promised a reshuffle next year to even things out (see, great management – my last job just piled more work on). As much as I love it, and the industry I’m in, I just don’t know if it is my heart’s desire. My true passion is writing, has been since I was a child, but I really don’t know where that comes from, as I don’t seem to have placements that favour that (unless I’ve got that all wrong). I truly think I mainly live in my sixth house.
Also, my job is office bound, and early this year I jumped on the scales and was mortified haha, so have made serious changes and now eat pretty healthy most of the time, and work out and exercise. I have lost 10 kilos with 10 to go. Which was very hard when menopause is thrown into the mix!

I have stellium in Leo, Scorpio, Aquarius, Virgo, and Taurus. I have been struggling with severe depression since 2023 (my whople life really, but it became officially debilitating in 2023) and have recently moved back to NY and changed jobs. I now live five minutes away from my parents, and work from home, but I am struggling with my digestive health and feeling tired all the time. I am naturally an artist and writer, but have been creatively blocked since the depression has taken over my soul. I also have profound hearing loss which has made socialization difficult my whole life. You have mentioned before that the hearing loss is a Mercury Saturn thing, but I don’t know what to do with that information.
Before I moved back to NY I was completely isolated after my marriage feel apart late 2020/early 2021 during the pandemic. I am sorry you have severe depression. You are also deaf. You also feel alone. Your Virgo stellium is the first port of call. Virgo rules the Sixth House of mental and physical health, paid work, unpaid work and academia. So what’s going on there? The Sun is exactly in conjunction with Venus in Virgo. You also have Saturn in Virgo and the North Node there too. Saturn is at 15 Virgo semi-sextile Apollo at 15 Leo and Mercury at 15 Leo in the Fifth House of courtship, the bedroom, babies, infants, schoolchildren, teenagers and young adults. So your depression and deafness are always there when you have sex, become pregnant, think about step-motherhood or deal with being a parent/not being a parent. And it works the other way as well. I’m just curious about what the year ahead holds for me with all these moves. I’ve been working hard, but only 30 hrs a week since my full-time job was dissolved. I’m a sole parent and while we have been surviving and I’m always grateful, I’ve been making sure to put in the hours to get noticed and hope that I get something more full-time. I’ve had some unknown blood work, that basically the doctors told me until it turned into something nasty there is nothing they can do. Your career was stuck for years with a Capricorn stellium in your Tenth House as Pluto trawled this 2008-2024 and was joined at various points by Saturn in Capricorn and the South Node in Capricorn too. You will have seen small but interesting, rather important signs of system change, and perhaps the drop in power of particular people, since the second half of November. You may have made this happen. It may have happened without any input from you. If you were undermined (undermining is a Pluto word), ignored, belittled (another Pluto word) then that’s over. Whole new world, whole new year. I daresay you will see hard evidence of this, for the rest of December and in January 2025. Alas my 2023 Capricorn booking did not deliver a buyer on dec 7th but my current agent’s contract (signed Jul. 17th! I know!) ends Dec 31st. Thanks Catherine. The Jupiter-Saturn opposition in your chart is classically about ‘Heavy is the head that wears the crown’ and Shakespeare understood it well. Leading the group; not being part of the group; dependent on the group – are all upcoming issues as Pluto transits that opposition. It works the other way. King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table was really about being a knight dealing with a monarch; being part of the circle and having to accept that one was not the leader. Jupiter will also cross the opposition in Leo but it is Pluto which will bring power and control issues. Be aware of who and what you sign up for before this happens.

I am interested to know what you think about the changes coming in 2025/26. The Aries can-do attitude always helps, but after a decades long slog of caring for chronically ill family members, it’s taking me longer to bounce back than I anticipated (by a couple years). Rather than the dynamic self I was previously accustomed to, I have become more of a plodder, more risk-averse (so miss opportunities sometimes being hesitant), and generally just trying to stabilize internally again after draining myself. Solitude and firm boundaries have been necessary as I built up a new routine and lifestyle emphasizing self-care instead. I’m delighted to be writing fiction – a book unexpectedly grew into a series (so taking longer to publish with learning craft, editing, etc.), and online writing groups have been both fun and very helpful. But my slower pace and longer processing time in all arenas has me losing patience and some confidence in myself. I do still have good energy levels and health overall though – that came back sooner. Yet I miss my fiery spirit, unafraid to charge ahead – it’s like I morphed into a different personality (too much Neptune, then Saturn in 12th? not to mention years of Pluto obstacles). I’m assuming the house shifts and planets into Aries will help the dynamic me emerge more again, along with the upcoming Jupiter aspects to address both delayed home updates (due to unstable finances) and a rebooted lifestyle to support publishing goals too? Thank you. The North Node and South Node work as a pair and are always in opposite signs. They go backwards in cycles of 18-19 years and always ask us to pursue closure with the past as unfinished business from last time, has to be finished. So, for example, the South Node in Virgo from January 2025 is in the sign of public health and unfinished business from other plagues, pandemics, epidemics, health insurance, hospital/health care set-ups will come back. What particular countries or people did right, is rewarded. What was not done right, has to be faced and fixed. You will see this in media headlines almost as soon as January begins.

The South Node goes into Virgo from January 2025 and remains there throughout 2026. The South Node shows karma from 18-19 years prior and as you are owed, or you owe, there will be a repetitive, circular situation for around two years involving both your job, unpaid roles or study, as well as your physical and mental health. You will be paid out or receive settlement from the universe, or find yourself having to pay back or settle up on some level. The Sixth House is also triggered in your solar chart. Hi Jessica, With the New Year upon us and a total rehab of our house nearing completion – I finally feel like I’m “home” – I’m not sure where I should put my energy next or what to look forward to once the dust literally settles. (It doesn’t help that we lost our only brother suddenly this summer and have barely had time to grieve.) I have written a few children’s stories I’m proud of but I’m having a hard time finding the motivation to revisit them. (Though I did thoroughly enjoy writing them once I found my rhythm.)
