As I write this on Thursday 7th February 2019, the NAB in Australia is already showing early signs of a revolution, with the resignation of the white man in a suit at the top. Here’s the list. People are often surprised to hear that a company can have a horoscope too, but they all do – based on their foundation, launch or incorporation date.
The cycle of the great planet Uranus will shake piggy banks all over the world once it restarts on 7th March 2019. This is Year of the Pig, but the piggy banks on our planet – according to both Asian and Western astrology – have lessons to learn by 2020.

What You Read in May 2018 – and How 2019 is Shaping Up
“Of these (above) the biggest dramas will involve Visa, the NAB, the HSBC and Natwest. Why? Their patterns fall in Taurus and the Second House of currency and credit cards and/or in Scorpio in the Eighth House of global trade and investment.”
What we are looking for is the arrival of Uranus (the revolution, not experienced in our adult lifetime) in Taurus (money, property and business) at 0, 1, 2 degrees of that sign. Further, we would be looking for other planets, asteroids or points which are also circling Taurus 0, 1, 2 degrees and pulling in all the other organisations.
Astrology is History and Sociology
Astrology is history and sociology. We look back to the patterns of the past to predict the future. When that future also involves entire generations of people (in this case, the billions born with chart factors at Taurus or Scorpio 0, 1, 2) we can assume that this is more than just one radical wave of change, with one organisation, in one country. It’s going to be global.
The sociology, then, is about the generations born with the slow-moving outer planets and Nodes in particular, like Uranus, Neptune, Pluto, the North Node or South Node – all in these signs – Taurus (gold bullion, the Wall Street bull, bull markets) and Scorpio (banks, property, valuables).
When Uranus – a symbol of revolution since 1781 – moves across 0, 1, 2 Taurus it conjuncts or triggers those early Taurus factors in the charts of billions, at the same time that is opposes the Scorpio factors in the charts of billions. That’s a wave. This is global, pulling in the HSBC in Asia, but also Australian banks pulled into a commission investigation in February 2019.
Other Issues – Money Laundering and Uranus in Taurus
One of the waves of change in 2019 will be the impact of the Magnitsky Amendment on money laundering, passed by Her Majesty the Queen in Great Britain, back in May 2018, when Uranus first made a tentative appearance in Taurus. That also happens to be her own sign. This amendment could see the prosecution of any person or organisation breaching human rights as it also throws its money through the global laundromat. In astrology, every alarm bell in the world started ringing on the day the Queen sanctioned that change to the United Kingdom’s laws. She did it within days of Uranus changing signs.

Beyond sanctions on money laundering, recent history also tells us the HSCB made Blockchain history when Uranus briefly moved into Taurus after May 2018. What happens in 2019 concerns blockchain banking, as much as money laundering.

Keep your situation as flexible as possible as you will need to adapt and adjust quickly as Uranus goes over 0, 1, 2 Taurus. Natwest has Jupiter at 2 Scorpio and Saturn at 2 Taurus. This is a direct lightning strike on banks.
This Isn’t Over – December 2019

You have a huge cluster around 0, 1 degree of the zodiac signs so this March pattern is about more than just the credit card with the NAB and Visa. It’s about breaking free and doing things differently in several areas of your life at once. You will need to compromise (Ceres) over the control (Ceres, again) with your house or apartment, possessions, business, money or charity at this time. You’ll be striking deals not only with the bank, perhaps, but with the people around you, and doing trades over the balance of power. Give and take is the magic phrase, yet it will happen in an atmosphere of great economic climate change, as from March into early 2021 we are seeing huge upheaval as people go to jail for money laundering, new regulations are brought in, and the general business and banking world goes through one shockwave after another. Stay right across the information as it comes in and make sure you are ‘bendy’ flexible so you can adapt and adjust very quickly to what is on offer. Another fantastic article! Last May Uranus hit my Chiron 1 Taurus and trined my Juno 1 Capricorn. During that time I sold my house for more than anyone thought I would (except me of course) and moved states. I also left a career I’d be building since 2005 and went into retail. Thank you. Your story is really interesting because you ‘changed when change appeared’ and made a profit on your house and left your career too. Chiron at 1 Taurus in your chart trine Juno at 1 Capricorn translates as a person who pushes the boundaries with money, property, business, charity and possessions, and educates others about what they can also get away with. This works well (the trine) with the need to make big career commitments (Juno) which suggest being married to the job. This would make sense as he also has Fortuna at 0 Cancer inthe Fourth House of family and property – and the Sun at 1 Libra in his Seventh House of former, current and potential partners. You will experience Uranus opposite Uranus in 2019, Nuwan. You are going to have to change, financially, this year. Taurus and Scorpio are both fixed signs, so having the planet that symbolises revolution passing across, will challenge you to move, and keep moving. This is the best way through this year. Don’t assume anything is going to hang around for very long in the world of work, banks, credit cards, business and so on. People want to be free and there will a huge push for independence, which you might also want. The old system is crumbling and it will be gone by 2023. Change is a very good idea this year, but once it’s made, don’t necessarily bank on things being fixed, afterwards. They may change, and change, and change – again. I have Aesculapia at 2 Taurus. With Uranus finally leaving my sign Aries in Mar this year and Ceres being in Aries for years to come as well as eclipses in Capricorn and Cancer this year, there seems to be a lot of going on this year for me.
I’m due to go back to work mid Jun after maternity leave (am not looking forward to it as it’s not a positive environment and many ppl have left-I’ve already been told I “have a face that gets everybody’s back up and that needs to be recorded and plaid back to me” which now sounds rather amusing) and remortage on 3rd Jul.
With all the astrological activities going on am a bit scared to move even my little finger in case it’s a wrong move. Can you offer any insight or advice?

Much to your surprise, a situation, plan, investment or other circumstance that is financial – resurrects and comes back from the brink. Just when you thought it was over, or you were done with it, it revives. This will set you free. You are going back to work in June and remortgaging in July? The astrologer Patric Walker used to say ‘Life is what happens to you, when you are making other plans.’ No need to be scared about your little finger moving – but there is a very great need to be in a supremely flexible position. The NAB resignations were certainly shocking. Over here in NZ, the subsidiary banks of four of the big Aussie ones were also checked over by the local regulators but got only a minor telling off. Do you see anything further happening for them ( Westpac, ASB Bank, BNZ, ANZ). On another note, I have applied for something quite different – a public service job ( though I haven’t even heard if I am getting an interview yet) – is this the sort of radical thing you mean?
The money laundering which has dominated the world economy for years, will be exposed after March 2019 and there will be closures, resignations, jail terms, corporate collapse and political careers ended. The money launderette will be permanently closed from March and we will never be the same again. We will all be affected through six degrees of separation and it will mean we have to question the way we used to handle cash last century. All that borrowing! All that shopping! It just can’t and won’t go on and in fact New Zealanders are leading the world in seeking alternatives. All the banks will be dragged through the domino effect which begins from March 2019 and goes into 2020. You’re applying for a new job? This may be part of what your year is all about as you have Uranus opposing your Scorpio factors. This is unpredictable and stormy weather, best handled by zig-zagging around it and through it, not just trying to deny it, or turn your back on it! Essentially Uranus opposes your Mercury and Hygiea, which means you need to avoid major new commitments and undertakings with your money, house, business, charity or apartment near those dates – your weekly Premium Member horoscope will reveal patterns at 2 degrees as they turn up. The weather is far too challenging and unpredictable. It would be like trying to put up a tent in an electrical storm. 2019 and 2020 are essentially years to let go, adapt, adjust and be flexible. Try not to hang on and hold on to the past, even if the past is just 2018! You’re not going that way. You need to try and surf these waves of change and they will come rapidly after April.

Yes you have that Cancer/Fourth House/Property pattern in your chart but also Chiron in Taurus too. So, Uranus will go right over your Chiron in the Second House, at the same time that he triggers your Fourth House. This all suggests you need to look right across the headlines from March 2019 onwards to spot the options. You can get away with things most people can’t, with Chiron in your Second House, and have probably done that your whole life. Have at look at quirky real estate, Air BnB, tiny houses, communal living, home exchange, house-sitting and all variations upon a theme, as Uranus is the planet of the unconventional and unusual.

The golden rule with Uranus is not to peer into the future in too much detail as it is quite literally unpredictable. Whoever would have predicted that the United States of America would have a non-white President and become the world’s leading free superpower, back in 1781? It seemed impossible. America was then under British rule and people of colour were slaves. Yet – it happened. It began very slowly, too, in the year 1781 when Uranus (the symbol of revolution) was discovered. From March 7th 2019, into 2020, 2021, 2022 and beyond you will be in the best possible position if you constantly commit to freedom and independence for yourself and others. Look seriously at anything which gives people a chance to break free of the banks, or borrowing – for example. We are going to see quite radical options everywhere from the supermarkets, to restaurants, to crowdfunded online one-world digital currency co-operative banking. There will be a ton of options out there, some of which leave your jaw on the floor, and it will be for many years. It will pay, literally, to keep your ear to the ground where these innovations are concerned. You need to provide for your son but you also need to see that there will be years of chopping and changing ahead and the words ‘new’ and ‘different’ will repeat every few months. My tip would be to look at communal-style housing and ‘new’ communes/communal group living from the year 2020 onwards. This would help your son who would no doubt like to have friends around him and people in a similar situation. But – wait for Uranus to go into Taurus first in March 2019 so you can see what’s about to unfold out there.

A lifetime of doing things a certain way (Taurus tends to hang on and hold on) is about to be challenged. It will happen very quickly, soon after Uranus changes signs in March, and 2019 as a whole will go down as the year you had to zig-zag, in order to keep up with a zig-zag economy. Just how radical your new world will be, depends on how fixed you were before in the old 20th century economy. By that I mean living on a credit card, borrowing to own a home, getting into a marriage or relationship partly for financial or property reasons, owning a lot of possessions, placing a high value on status symbol cars or clothes – and so on. I have no idea what your personal values or lifestyle is like, but I have to say, the 20th century economy is about to flip and nothing will be the same again. Mars at 0 Cancer and Leo, Aquarius and Virgo factors very close by, suggest that March brings Uranus at 0 Taurus and Chiron at 0 Aries, to alter the way you see your house or apartment. I don’t know if you have children or not, but if you do, the Cancer-Leo signature here would suggest your life as a father also needs to shift. Most of all, it’s the Cancer-Virgo link which counts here. You are about to be shown a radically different way to have a roof over your head, but also to deal with your daily workload, and the entire way you live your life.

Thank you. I am sorry you lost your job and are obviously still finding your feet. You were born with Pluto at 0 Scorpio in the Eighth House, so control over marital finances is very important to you. You never have complete control with any house, apartment, bank account, lifestyle or security with the man in your life – Pluto tends to take you back and forth. The more flexible you can be the better, as Uranus at 0 Taurus will oppose your Pluto, and the time is coming (from March) to adapt and adjust your values and lifestyle – changing to meet change. You say you fear a divorce, being broke and homeless which sounds like three extreme worries playing out there! There is no evidence at all for any of this in your chart in 2019, but you are going to have to rethink your values. I don’t know what your values are, but you have lived with them for a long time. Some people place a high value on having a lot of possessions, for example – or a car. Some people value jewellery and designer clothes. Others value completely different things! You can bet that the Uranus opposition will challenge you to change and that’s not such a bad thing. This entire Uranus in Taurus cycle will be with you for many years, right to the end, actually – so learning to be open to who/what is so new and different, almost constantly, is a really good idea. Being willing to try the alternatives with money, property, possessions is a smart move. In fact, you will invent a new way to earn, own or owe starting in March 2019. Amy, Uranus will oppose your natal Ceres at 0 Scorpio in the Eighth House of marriage, property and money. At the same time it will oppose your husband’s Mercury (signature agreements) also in Scorpio in the Eighth House, then move on to oppose his Bacchus (pleasure) later in 2019. The Bacchus position you have in Sagittarius in your Ninth House about travel, knowledge and books, foreign people and places is really a separate, but connected story. Bacchus is a symbol of giving and receiving ‘Bacchanalia’ highs of luxury, self-indulgence, fun and hedonism. I’m not going to deny the lightning bolts and storms ahead, from the month of March. You are both going to have to look at what can change – must change – about the arrangements you have with each other, and perhaps the bank, or another financial institution. Ceres in your chart is about the need to compromise and share the controls so when she is in an opposition with Uranus, there is a real moment of truth about the need for a brand new arrangement between you and your husband, and perhaps a third party. Thank you. You could easily move out of your city/country in March, when your Minerva (wisdom, knowledge) in Sagittarius (emigration, relocation) is under transit by Uranus (freedom, change) in Taurus, and Chiron (experiments in life) is in Aries. Even if that is not quite the right moment for you, personally, you are still heading for the transiting North Node moving to 3, 2, 1, 0 Cancer (karma and home) eventually. If you do decide to switch places by 2020 it may be to your old home town, your old homeland, or to a place which has deep meaning for either side of your family tree, as this is where your roots are. The Node always rules going ‘back to the future’ and you may be taken back 19 years, actually. Certainly, Uranus will cross your Diana at 0 Taurus in March and that is a call to action with your money, valuables, house, apartment, charity commitment, business or values as a whole. Uranus as you can see is ‘The Revolution’ and you will hear the bugle loud and clear. Diana is a chart symbol of freedom, space, autonomy, wildness and life without commitment and ties. Unfortunately the Uranus cycle (which began in a small way in 2018) extends for about 7 years and when we hit difficult aspects involving other horoscope factors in Scorpio, Aquarius and/or Leo we will run into trouble. This begins to happen from December 2020 when Saturn enters Aquarius and intensifies from 2023 when Pluto enters Aquarius. This may be one of the reasons, quite apart from the money laundering scandal which is coming in 2019, why we turn away from old-fashioned high street banking and towards other options.
