1. hello Jessica,

   Thank you for another great article! I have Chiron in Taurus and I am not sure how to interpret this given the context of the Taurus weather in May and Uranus entering Taurus.

   I do have an idea that looks impossible. I am working on a course and aim to achieve something that hasnt been achieved before. For this reason, since 2011 I ve been on a roller coaster with money. I have had only small and short jobs and sometimes no job at all because I chose to do it my way (yeah, I chose freedom). So, basically I ve never made money from my writing, ideas or course which is still in the working. But, I have survived.

   So, given my factor in Taurus and the May weather, would it mean that I wont get away anymore with small jobs? I am working in a small business and try to improve it, as it will provide me with the context for my writing. But, I havent made any significant progress so far to advance my position (in spite of my contribution) and I am tempted to quit my job, but for now I am still looking for alternatives to make money.

   What is your perspective on this? Thank you very much for your time and answer!

   1. Chiron at 27 Taurus in your Second House of income and debts is hit very late in the cycle, so forget about seeing anything too dramatic in 2018, 2019 or even 2020. You say you are a writer. That’s easier to call. This is really about your Sagittarius stellium in the Ninth House of publishing, books, websites, journals, blogs and the rest. You have so far been looking at a fairly narrow range of mediums and organisations to work with, but will be overjoyed to see so many new solutions and opportunities from November 2018, with a very Merry Christmas in December 2018. Dedicate yourself to your top 1-2 projects in 2019 and watch in amazement as Jupiter brings you one huge answer after another. You only get this cycle once every 12 years. So – this isn’t about money. But if you work this, you will be so successful.

2. Hi Jessica! Great article again! I’ve been anticipating Uranus in Taurus since you wrote about it last year. I have Uranus 15 Scorpio, Vesta 17 Scorpio, and Chiron 1 Taurus that will be effected right off the bat on May 15th. My fiancé also has Neptune 17 Scorpio. Our whole world has already begun to dramatically shift with a planned move to another city on June 1st and having a contract on my home with a close date of May 31st. I have a feeling May is going to be an interesting ride and I’m planning to be very flexible per your advice. Not to jump to far ahead but June 1st also intrigued me as we have a grand trine with Neptune 16 Pisces, Jupiter 15 Scorpio, and Venus 15 Cancer. So seems like that time might be a favorable and interesting time per my birth chart. Any insight would be appreciated. Thank you in advance.

   1. You’ll certainly feel Uranus crossing your Chiron. You are a maverick when it comes to money, property, business and can get away with the so-called impossible or outrageous! You will find yourself in a position to do just that, after May. Your partner has 15/16 water patterns with you? This is fantastic for the house or apartment you want, or whatever residence you end up choosing. That grand trine in June is special.

3. Thankyou Jessica. Interesting and insightful article as always. I have Ceres at 10 Taurus, Vesta at 13 Taurus and Venus at 23 Taurus but also have Diana at 15 Scorpio. Hoping you can see something in my chart that might help me through May and beyond. I am a small business owner and like most of the planet, in debt and working my butt off to keep my head above water. Sometimes it feels like I am drowning and other times, it feels like I am surfing like a pro.
   Also, on another note, my grandaughter will be born on Thursday 17th May so any insights into that would be appreciated as well. Thanks again for an amazing article.

   1. So many people posting are doing it tough financially and you have to wonder where the justice is in that, across the planet, when people work so hard. I think Uranus in Taurus will come as a revelation once the cycle kicks in. You won’t feel it personally for some years, but in general, you will feel the ‘weather change’ of May and June, economically. Congratulations on the child to come. She’s a Taurus born in the eye of the storm, actually, and with Uranus in Taurus, will be part of a generation who ‘green’ the planet and put the conservation of trees, plants, the ocean and animals above money and development. A radical little soul. Put her on the grass in the garden in summer!

      1. Thankyou so much. My grandson who is only 3 is already showing how conservative he is and never liked grass or sand or dirt for that matter but I have whipped him into shape as I am a nature lover. A lovely gentle soul though. My grandaughter is already a rebel in utero and will be a force to be reckoned with so she will be dancing in the grass climbing the tallest tree. As far as the economy goes, as long as my staff are ok, that is all that matters to me. My retirement in 2020 will be perfect timing for me hopefully.

4. I’m scared. Scared to billy-o actually. I am trying to improve my skill set to make me more attractive to employers as I haven’t worked for a long time (raising my family), and as a family, we struggle to make ends meet at times . I know you recently said to me that I would be liberated from something or someone that has held me back…finances are one of first things that come to mind. Struggle city for me…UGH! Does this mean it’s going to get even worse? We’d literally be a family living on the streets in May, if things got THAT bad. Can you please help me decipher? I’m doing my head in, just trying to figure it out with the Taurus stellium I have going on. Many thanks to you.

   1. Just have a look at Uranus in Taurus on Search again as I’ve posted a few times now, to explain it. Ceres at 1 Taurus is your ability to control your money and create and produce income. It is where you are powerful but where you also have to compromise and strike deals with people. When Uranus moves to 1 Taurus and conjuncts your Ceres, the world will turn upside-down for everybody across the planet, from Wall Street, to the banks. It’s not just you, but you are going to have to radically change the way you earn, own or owe. What you receive in return will be freedom you never had before.

5. Wow, Jessica. This sounds like an amazing ride. I hope it changes the world up for the ultimate better. I have been a firm believer that the world is changing for the better. Against all odds that we see daily. I have been the dreamer that truly believes that this new generation will not stand for the old ways. This new generation are saying it with their wallets, they are saying no to cruelly raised animal products on their plates, no to animal leather on their backs and on their feet, they want to see transparency on their bills and in their banking etc. They want to save the planet. They will help change the world. Do you see this as the beginning of something better Jessica? A better planet where all on the planet will be fed and watered. Bitcoin could help make that possible by helping to create average people into very wealthy people and giving them the opportunity to help the planet in a real way.

   1. We will be in a better world, if you mean equality and diversity – and a sense of ‘we the people’ – rather than great dictators. I have been researching this Age of Aquarius to come, and the teenagers who are Generation Aquarius. It’s a strange repeat of Ancient Rome. In fact it’s a repeat of the end of the Roman Empire, the fall of figures like Nero and the rise of the Christian cult, which became the Christianity which rules over so much of the world today. There is more to these Parkland protestors than meets the eye. Some seem to be very old souls. You are right about Bitcoin and similar c-currencies empowering average people. Essentially this ‘we the people’ approach to banking bypasses the usual Wall Street faces and it can become its own world of value – evaluated by the community – not the 1% at the top.

      1. Then I welcome it with open arms even if it impacts me badly. I don’t care. Let it all be equal and correct under God’s heaven because we have only seem corruption and misery since forever. Having said that, I also see that the stars are set, so to speak, in such a way that this will be an inevitable part of the evolution that has been destined for eons. Do you know that since I have been a member of your site, I see things in such a different light and everything makes such sense to me. It is like, turn your back to the wind when Uranus or Pluto come forth in one’s own horoscope and make merry when Jupiter pops in.    I only have Volcano an Chiron in Taurus yet i have many of them in Scorpio the opposite sign, including Uranus. My budget been tight the last year and this year, more or less the same income but more expenses. I´m wondering, how i will feel the hit? Would it be now a good time to invest some of my savings in digital currency or should i hold it until the storm settles down?
   It feels that we´re living in time with no ground, or the ground is our own heart…

   1. You are right in your last sentence. As I write this, one hour ago, the FBI has raided Trump’s lawyer’s offices. That’s the first shudder of the ground beneath our feet. Don’t worry – you are not alone in feeling that you have more expenses and bills but on the same income. Part of that is the reason the world is overdue for a big reshape. It’s out of balance economically and financially. In general, ride out the electrical storms and see what is illuminated – lit up as clear as day – and shown to you in May. Then along with everyone else you can start making informed decisions. Long-term you need the best financial advice you can afford as Uranus will oppose your Scorpio factors, but I suspect this has more to do with your family or partner (if you have one) locked into your house/apartment/bank situation.

7. My North and South nodes, 18 Taurus/ Scorpio and Neptune 19 Scorpio, am I slightly affected or massively?
   I m very recently separated, and struggling to survive solo..

   1. You are affected, in general, rather as anyone is affected by rainy weather. It won’t personally change your life but you’ll need a brolly and you won’t be planning certain things as a result – or you’ll be embracing a greener garden. The personal part won’t happen until Uranus gets to 18/19 Taurus which is many years into the future. What you are affected by now is Pluto across 18/19 Capricorn for such a long time. This is certainly aspecting your Taurus and Scorpio factors in the finance zones of your chart. The struggle won’t go on forever. In the meantime Pluto is teaching you self control and self discipline which will ultimately empower you and give you a sense of self you possess for life. Priceless.

8. Hi Jessica, thank you for another great article. So many fascinating articles the last few days. I am trying to interprete my taurus and scorpion factors for May. I have Taurus at 18 MC and Scorpion at 18 IC. I know MC has to do with career and IC family. What can I expect with the Taurus weather. Thank you.

   1. Thank you. You have Jupiter at 0 Virgo so I am excited for you. Don’t worry too much about your Taurus/Scorpio factors as it will take years for Uranus to trigger those in your chart. Right now, your natural luck factor with work is about to unfold, as Uranus at 0 Taurus will make a stunning trine to your fortunate Jupiter. Better still, Jupiter himself will travel around your chart to 0 Capricorn eventually, also making a trine. So – get to know your Virgo side. You do best in life when you serve others, and do your duty by attending to the details of your daily workload. This may be paid or unpaid work, but the issue here is making sure that you hone your craft, skill or art so that you almost perfect it, and by doing so, keep the wheels turning for other people. Uranus trine this will bring the most sudden, breathtaking and unexpected changes across May, June 2018 and again in 2019 and by 2020 you will reshape your career or unpaid working life as a result – to your total advantage.

9. Another fascinating and well, terrifying article! Apart from Venus, I got quite a few other factors in Taurus and some factors at 14-15 degrees. And I still cannot figure out the practical strategy amidst this approaching mayhem. Resist the sharing and any new joint ventures? Keep onto precious possessions or liquidate asap? Brace oneself for financial hardships? Apart from everything else, mortgage gives me a headache and I am being fooled out of getting the inheritance money. My my, this is most unsettling!

   1. That Venus at 2 Taurus aspects Mercury and the Moon in your chart too, so you’ll see the way the wind blows in May, June 2018 with all that you earn, own or owe. Nothing will really change until Uranus hits his stride and goes across 2, 3, 4 Taurus though, so you’re looking at 2019 as well. Your old patterns of conducting complicated relationships with other people who affect your finances or property so much, will have to profoundly change. This will affect two or three other departments of your life at the same time, so this goes beyond the money, the house, the apartment or the business. Uranus is typically experienced as a sweeping trend that alters everything and everybody – including you. The best example I can give you is Uranus in Aries, these last few years. Aries is the sign we associate with the head. Facebook swelled to world domination since 2011 when Uranus first moved into Aries. And now, as I write this on the coast of England on 10th April, Uranus is preparing to leave Aries and Facebook is going down. If you apply that general idea of ‘new, different, exciting, new, different’ to money, you will know exactly what is going to impact you and those close to you, so much, when Uranus sweeps past your Venus and starts triggering the rest of your chart. Do your homework!

    1. You have Jupiter at 0 Leo and Apollo at 1 Leo, so they are in a conjunction, in the Fifth House of your horoscope. The Fifth House and Leo are about the heirs to your throne. Your junior court. Your royal bedchamber. You don’t say if you are married, single, a parent, not a parent, or anything else – so I can’t really do more than make general predictions. Yet, when Uranus at 0, 1 Taurus squares your Jupiter-Apollo conjunction in May, June 2018 (and later on too) you will be challenged by sudden and quite radical changes which make you look so much more closely at how best to mentor, guide and lead younger faces – how to weave them into your life more fully – and perhaps, how to deal with intimate relationships too.

11. Thank you, Jessica–thank you for writing so much about the new uranus transit. I have Taurus rising at 3 degrees. I’ve worked hard over the last few years to pay off all my debts (save my student loan, which will take some time to pay off). I am also full earth–Virgo sun and moon. How will this new energy affect those of us with Taurus ascendant and so much earth? Are there other aspects other than those that you mentioned that I should be particularly focused on?

    1. Thank you. According to the birth chart I see here you have Aries Rising and your Ascendant is 11 Aries. You may want to check that.

12. Hi Jessica, thank you for another inspiring article! I am planning to sell my house this summer in order to move in to my partner’s place and also be closer to my work. I was wondering if this change (Taurus weather) will have any negative impact on my decision on selling the house? I’ve been through the recession in 2008 and now the real estate market seems fine (of course, most people don’t know what’s coming) so I hope to sell the house while the price is good before another financial instability comes.

    1. I strongly recommend you use your Astrology Oracle cards for this one, as part of your general advice toolkit, while also talking to financial experts. It’s hard to comment on decisions like this without your partner’s chart and also without any more information. The reason I say this is that we always look to the Fourth House for real estate, ruled by Cancer, and you have the South Node at 7, Mercury at 22 and the Moon at 29 – all of which will be slowly but surely opposed by Jupiter, Saturn, Pluto and Ceres and also triggered by what they call the Nodal Return. So there is way more to this than just a decision to move into your partner’s place. The Nodal Return is about karma and past life debts and credits and so now through 2019, 2020 is a big deal. Saturn – learning experiences – is right opposite your Cancer stellium too. So if this was me, and this was my chart, I would sit down with my Oracle cards and give myself a pretty big reading, along with doing a lot more thinking about different outcomes. If you are in no great hurry, you may want to go into this a lot more deeply and do seek advice.

    I have 20 ASC and 16 Jupiter in Taurus, while my husband has 24 Moon, 11 Mercury, 0 Jupiter, 4 Minerva, 15 Vulcano and 25 Hygeia (quite a stellium!). I’ve been telling him about your predictions, and (not surprisingly) he is a treasurer/accountant so he knows a thing or two about finances, but will our joint Jupiter placements in Taurus help protect us somewhat from the upcoming upheaval?

    Reading around on Ceres and Vesta, who seem to be important as far as maintaining and nurturing the spark of hope we need to eventually rebuild new structures and systems after the transformation period we are experiencing due to Saturn in Capricorn etc., can you see a role for me in helping to deliver that for future generations? I’m feeling a call to do this.

    The Oxford Astrologer sees the asteroids as possibly the guardians of humanity through whom Saturn will be passing one by one and who will show us that the world is not ours to exploit but rather to nurture and nourish for future generations to come.

    1. Your Taurus stellium husband is probably a great accountant/treasurer but you both need to be ahead of the curve on tech stocks, blockchain and other classic examples of Uranus in Taurus. Yes, your Jupiter placements will protect you and could ultimately help you as Uranus eventually conjuncts Jupiter in your Second House of property, charity, business, finance. The other big thing here is Jupiter crossing your Sagittarius factors in the Ninth House of travel, education and the worldwide web in 2019. It starts at the end of this year. If you do want to help younger people that’s your cue. I suspect it would be overseas, or in some kind of cultural or foreign exchange of ideas.

14. You have a conjunction between the Moon and Chiron in Taurus in your Second House of money, charity, property, business and possessions. Moon’s at 18, Chiron’s at 17. Uranus will take a very long time to reach 17 and 18 degrees of Taurus, but along the way, you will experience trines from Saturn, Ceres and Jupiter at 17, 18 Capricorn. You have already been experiencing the trine from Pluto at 17, 18 Capricorn. Essentially, you ‘need to be needed’ through money or the material world. This is how you fit in with people. You mother them, by taking care of the financial or property side of things. Chiron right next to the Moon suggests you also like to see what you can get away with.     1. Books are ruled by Sagittarius, Carol, and you are in luck as Jupiter (abundant opportunity, solutions, expansion) goes into that sign from the end of this year. Jupiter in the Ninth House of digital and traditional publishing will help you along, and oppose your Gemini factors in your Third House of writing. Even an opposition from Jupiter can be a great nudge. And it is your Gemini side which wants to write! Now, Uranus in Taurus will be a global phenomenon and as entire nations are also in debt (far more heavily than you are) I wouldn’t worry too much about fate singling you out. Yet, as you have Fortuna in Taurus at 2 degrees, you will feel the climate change of May, June pretty strongly and need to ‘read’ the weather by reading up – more than usual – on what is actually going on out there in the new financial, business and economic world. Uranus is about new possibilities, new challenges, and entirely original ways of earning, saving, spending or repaying. The trick with this transit is to move with it and through it. Don’t try to push back against it or pretend it’s not happening. Something very big and very different is blasting through the world economy, a few weeks from now and we all have to honour it, because it’s time. And so many people need to be free.

    I’ve been reading your articles on Uranus in Taurus for some time now and I have no idea how to implement your advices in a practical manner. I feel very unprepared for what is coming although I know Uranus will be hitting my Sun immediately, and Moon respectively. Any words of advice?

    1. Your Sun and Moon across 0, 1, 2 Taurus are really about how you shine – how you stand out – and also how you ‘need to be needed’. This is a common placement with people whose paid work, unpaid work, or life path revolves around their values. This is personal to you. Some Sun/Moon Taurus people are extremely left-wing and have highly political lives because of their stance on wealth, tax, poverty and so on. Others are natural collectors, traders, dealers, bankers, property developers. Then there are the charity donors and fundraisers. So, it’s your own mission, basically. Uranus is the outside force and external factor which confronts and challenges all that. Uranus will go back and forth for a while, out of Taurus, then back in again for 2019. So really, this period in your life is about understanding what it means to be free. What it means to be independent. It takes great insight sometimes to realise that particular people, plans or organisations confine and trap you. Suddenly, Uranus comes along and illuminates and enlightens – like an electrical storm – so that hopefully you can see, as plain as day, what or whom you needed to be released from, in order to be free. If you are strongly Taurus then you are very earthy, fixed and tend to prefer the ground beneath your feet to be solid. Uranus will come along and ask that you learn to move – and keep moving – as the ground also shifts. Uranus transits invariably result in an ‘Aha!’ moment months or even years later when you realise that had you stuck on the same path, financially, or with property, business, charity, economics, shopping, selling, collecting – you would have been well and truly stuck.

    I have got Uranus and Psyche both at 15 Scorpio, and Diana at 17 Scorpio. Financial independence, perharps long term…… I think, that would be great. It is true for now, for about a half year. And what else do you think? Thank you for your answer in advance.

    1. Yes, you can track Jupiter (and other heavenly bodies) across Scorpio and those specific degrees and be aware of opportunities and breakthroughs as they come up. This is a chance you only have every 12 years so pursue the big answers and the huge open doors with finance, charity, property, business. Diana places a high value on space, freedom and independence and perhaps it really is priceless.

18. I’ve looked at my chart and I only have Panacea at 24 Taurus. My sun sign is Libra. What will this change of Uranus sign bring for me? Also still really hoping to reconnect with man with sun sign in Taurus as well as these in Taurus- Mercury, North Node and possibly MC (not sure exactly about this one as don’t know d.o.b). What do you see around this please?

    1. Getting back together with a man who has broken up with you, is really nothing to do with Taurus. And I think I’ve said this a few times to readers – if I don’t have the man’s full chart and his participation – I can’t really comment. I think you need to use your Astrology Oracle here and follow the rules of a Romeo and Juliet reading. You will then see what is going on, why it is going on and where you stand with him. Thank you.

Not sure if you are still taking Q’s for this awesome article, but as I was watching MZucks with Congress I couldn’t help but think about Karma for him too – when he started FB, he didn’t really have a pure motive (at least that is what I am getting from this). I am wondering for me, with my natal Uranus at 15 Scorpio, AND my MC in 24 Taurus, what can you predict for that (i know Uranus is unpredictable, but still). I have a feeling it is big, especially since I am committed to starting my own business (with my sis). And for me, it is all about “pure” and organic (in many ways/levels). Thank you!!!!

    1. Thank you. George Orwell probably channelled Mark’s birth year when he wrote 1984 and warned us ‘Big Brother is watching you’ through the screens. It is probably the most important novel ever written and it was a warning. Channel Four even put out a TV series called Big Brother and still, billions of Millennials became part of Facebook and made Mark very, very rich. I’m afraid you can’t manipulate your fellow human beings in this way without some very, very dark and difficult karma. You will benefit from Jupiter in Scorpio throughout 2018 as you have a Scorpio stellium and Jupiter will open the windows and doors in your financial and business house, on a continual basis. Good people and things will flow through and the trick is to be grateful for everything and use everything. Without your sister’s chart it is impossible to say if this is about your shared business – but it certainly ticks a Scorpio/Eighth House box. After the ease and breeze of 2018, though, you need a flexible long-term financial plan as Uranus will oppose each and every one of those placements in your zone of ‘other people’s money’ and ‘shared commitments’. Go see a planner who understands the changing world we live in, on a regular basis. You need to be able to zig-zag when things zig-zag around you. This applies for around the next seven years.

    1. Victoria, Uranus leaving your Seventh House will be such a relief, as you have been dealing with its impact on your relationship with past, present and potential partners for years. You have learned a lot about how to balance the scales with people, but by 2019 the constant change and churning will be over. Your Mars at 2 Scorpio will be opposed in the Eighth House of shared/joint finances, business and property by Uranus at 1, 2, 3 Taurus passing through the Second House of money, currency and economy. Your Mars locks into other chart factors in the very, very early degrees of the signs, so this is about more than just a necessary change in the way you think – it is going to affect a couple of other areas of your life too, which have nothing to do with money. Uranus in Taurus will be experienced as a person, organisation or situation which comes from nowhere, which is unpredictable, and which can be harnessed, if you are prepared to experiment. Mars in Taurus is really about a set, fixed way of operating and yet, as early as May-June, you will realise you have to shift.     1. Thanks so much Jeff. I’m glad the astrology is working for you. Uranus tends to move like lightning and it can feel as if it’s come from nowhere. When he changes signs, the future can come rushing into the present, like a concertina. We sometimes see the future, 200 years long, coming into today, so it’s easy to feel ‘the shock of the new’ as Robert Hughes called it. He was talking about modern art in the 20th century but what we see across the middle of 2018 is a preview of 2218 and given your commitment to conservation and the environment and new ways of sharing/growing – you will be more receptive than most, to radical ways of making the planet go round!

22. Hi Jessica, thank you for another great article. Am re-posting as the original seems to have got lost somewhere…I have Aesculapia in Taurus. I’m due to go on maternity leave end Apr and could do with some extra cash. However, I have a funny feeling (call it a gut instinct) that my company is looking to make a major change to my employment status very soon (either before my maternity leave or towards the end of this year) – redundancy or a significant change to my job description. In Taurus in your Second House it is about the money, the possessions, the business, the house, the charity or the apartment. As Uranus crosses Aesculapia slowly but surely from 2018 through 2019, your lifelong tendency to see such arrangements, objects or commitments always come back from the brink, will be triggered. There is never truly anything or anybody that is finished, as you will see, and it will be a classic Uranian shock or lightning bolt that reveals everything to you.     1. Your angles at 0 Scorpio-Taurus are about image, and also about partners (or rivals/competition). This is purely financial or business based. The angles are calculated on an exact birth time so if there is any doubt at all about that, then you won’t experience the transit. If the time is spot on, though, Uranus crossing 0 Taurus will radically relaunch you, but also challenge you to deal with your former, current or potential partner in a dramatically different way.     1. If you have many Taurus factors in your chart then a large part of your personality and life, will be devoted to financial, property, economics, charity, trading or business issues. You have never experienced radical change like May 2018 (and beyond) in your life. As Taurus is a fixed sign, you may be quite set in your ways, when it comes to thinking about money, or wealth, or debt and so on. Uranus will come crashing into Taurus and your Second House in about three weeks’ time. Your life will never be the same again. Try to stay open to change, trust the revolution, and know that it will set people free. This is global and national, too, but you will feel it personally.
