The Ireland astrology chart is set for 17th April 1949 at 11.00pm in Dublin (The Book of World Horoscopes, Nicholas Campion, The Wessex Astrologer 2004). This chart, set for 17th April 1949, is pretty powerful. This was the moment she became a republic and separated with Great Britain. There is an exact conjunction between the Sun at 27 Aries and Venus at 27 Aries in the First House of self-promotion, advertising and appearances. This is rare and it tells you what Ireland is, and who the Irish are.
This is the beautiful woman (Venus) who pushes herself to the front (Aries) in the spotlight (the Sun) – but there is more to Irish women than this.
Since the Ireland astrology chart also shows the classic ‘war and peace’ signs of Aries and Libra, connected by the North Node at 25 Aries and South Node at 25 Libra. The Ireland Astrology Chart in Detail
When analysing the astrological chart or ‘birth’ horoscope for a country, the same rules we use for people apply. First of all, where are the exact aspects, or precise patterns, in the chart? We allow a gap of one degree (a one degree orb) in modern astrology, so where are the most striking spreads in this Irish chart?
I’ve mentioned that fiery, feisty Venus-Sun conjunction in Aries, which is exact.
This is also important. You can’t really go past Salacia at 0 Capricorn, the Moon at 1 Capricorn and Mercury at 2 Taurus. Salacia is the latest discovery in astrology. She is Neptune’s wife and like the ruler of the sea, she describes situations which flow everywhere, all the time, without any boundaries.
Salacia in your own chart, by zodiac sign and house, will tell you where you operate in a different space to everybody else. Almost as if you were scuba-diving or collecting sea shells on the sand, when the rest of the real world was somewhere else.
Ireland has this drifting, floating, ‘other reality’ quality to it, partly because of this pattern. And it’s in Capricorn and Taurus, so status, success, ambition and the economy. In the Irish chart, we can see that her position in the world, but also her finances (Capricorn and Taurus) aren’t really real. They don’t exist in the same real world, as everybody else’s real world! This is a really good explanation for Ireland’s status as a tax haven.
Mercury and Irish Writers, Journalists, Poets, Lyricists, Playwrights and Novelists
Ireland is famous for her Blarney Stone and also her wordsmiths. Why? Astrology Predictions for Ireland 2018, 2019 – The Irish Horoscope Revolution
I am writing this on 31st March 2018, gazing at Wales, not Ireland – from a delightful hotel room overlooking the sea. Ireland is not far away, though – and neither are some dramatic cycles which will bring about a revolution in both her attitude towards her women – and her economy.
*There will be a crash as Uranus (shock, change) in Taurus (the economy) passes 0, 1, 2 of the sign. This begins in May 2018 and it will accompany Ireland throughout 2019.
*Ireland will see new laws on abortion and other issues directly affecting women, like the current legal system surrounding rape allegations.
How can we say this? Well, I guess if you know this website well, you’ll also know that astrology works.
The crash of the Irish economy will begin with Uranus at 0 Taurus in May 2018 in trine to Salacia at 0 Capricorn. I mentioned the fantasy element of Salacia. The ‘double bubble’ effect of this very important object. This just has to be the unique status Ireland has had, as a tax haven for companies like Facebook, which is currently in crisis as I write this at the end of March 2018. Beyond that, Ireland has property bubbles, and other bubbles, involving large corporations keen to avoid the tax system – not just Facebook.
Crashes are set up in stages and we are going to see Uranus then moving to 1 Taurus in 2018, again – trine the Moon in Capricorn. This also feels very much like Blockchain and Cryptocurrency sweeping the country. In fact, Ireland may well become one of the world’s earliest uptakers of this.
Uranus goes from 0, 1 Taurus to 2 Taurus, where it will conjunct Mercury in the Irish chart. This is the currency revolution and the crash. One thing that history has taught us (as well as astrology) is that these things evolve over time but we could date the very first day of the spiral, from the moment Uranus changes signs.

Remember Venus? Uranus will cross Venus repeatedly, appearing and disappearing, in 2018 and 2019, when he finally moves to Taurus for good. This is historic! It also means that those fierce, feisty, fearless, forthright Irish women will not rest until the laws have changed, both on abortion and rape trials. Watch this space. But it will be real by 2019.

I find that the Irish declaration of independence (21 Jan 1919) to be a better horoscope particularly for triggering and prediction what came afterwards, especially the economic crash which stamps Ireland as an Aquarian country with a moon in Virgo, It’s also the day on which the IRA (called the Irish volunteers then) and the British army clashed for the first time.
This important as the Uranus in Ireland’s declaration of independence (in Aquarius) and demand that England leave Ireland embedded in the Irish declaration of independence is about to clash with the UK’s Brexit Uranus pointing to a serious breach and opening of old wounds. Also When Nigel Farage decided to go Dublin to speak of a eurosceptic conference the opening co-incided uncannily with the declaration of Independence, Sun in Aquarius,Moon in Virgo.
Both charts work and I am familiar with the 1919 chart too – but the modern chart clearly shows what is going on with Irish women and the abortion/rape trial situation in 2018 as Uranus slowly crosses Venus.

There are several different dates that could of been the birth of Ireland.
There was the 1916 Easter Rising date, another date for the Anglo – Irish treaty of 1921, another possibility for the Irish free state of 1922 and the adoption of the Constitution in 1937 on the 29th of December.
However the 1949 chart is the year lreland was accepted as a State by the International community. I think this is very important as countries like people interactive with each other.
In ancient times Ireland was a much more female centred place, many of our ancient Brehan laws reflected this. I think the next few weeks will be very interesting as a date 25th May has been set for a referendum on abortion. A striking element of the debate is the amount of strong women on both sides of the argument. If these women all put they energies together real change on issues such as the treatment rape victims would be unstoppable.
I think Ireland will be caught up in the tax avoidance your mentioned in your latest articles. Ireland also has an entire state agency dedicated to attracting inward foreign investment, which tallies with your Aires and self promotional comments, furthermore this agency has attracteded a lot of tech and pharmaceutical companies to the country. In recent years this agency has also been working on attracting the fintech sector.
I’m afraid I have seen some astounding corruption in this country, it’s rife and shockingly widespread.

Ireland is obviously multi-layered, historically, so all the astrological charts for her work on some level, but this particular horoscope does seem to ‘ping’ strongly for prediction. I will find out more about these Brehan laws, because they do sound typical of what we see when Venus dominates a country’s chart like this…have to say, the transits involving Uranus and Venus can only really happen like this once in our lifetime, so it feels as if Ireland will radically reform her abortion laws. And that’s just the start!

Female slaves were used as a unit of currency in early medieval Ireland and while some queens did have some political leverage, Ireland was very much a patriarchal society. Brehon law applied to the very top tier of society, not to the vast majority of the population, who were poor peasants or slaves.
The Great Irish Famine occurred when Uranus was in Taurus – so I’m a bit worried about what this one will bring – the last one in the 1930s also marked a cycle of mass emigration – it would be dreadful if we had another economic downturn so soon after the last one. I don’t think that I’ve recovered from that one myself and I feel like it might have negatively affected my career prospects. On the plus side Uranus in Aries was opposite my natal Uranus, so maybe a shift into Taurus will be a good thing…?
Thank you. I didn’t realise female slavery was an old Irish currency! Uranus in Taurus can’t really be read in isolation, as the 1930s were about so much else, besides that one transit. Yet, we would have to be honest and say, everything turns upside-down. Ireland will crash, but it is what she does in response to that, that matters. Uranus encourages people to be more ingenious; more inventive. I don’t really have a problem with Uranus as a planet, and neither should you. We see it at every revolution in history which has set people free and this will be no exception. It will ultimately change your life, and your lifestyle, and your values over a number of years, as you have factors spread out across the whole range of degrees occupied by Taurus. So, the first clues will arrive in May, June 2018. It will pay you to stay updated throughout this cycle as things will change very quickly, and you need to be right on top of that.

I suspect in a year or two Ireland will break right away from the old currency world and be organising herself quite independently and it would be sensible to stay right on top of that. This goes beyond Brexit shenanigans. It’s really about the shift towards one world currency, which will be virtual, not paper…
